I was wonder if you guys had some suggestions for movies that I should watch. I'm looking for either a really good mindtrip (i.e. Jacob's Ladder, SAW, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) or just hands down everyone must see type of movie (300, Gladiator, Sin City, Crash, Star Wars). The more twisted, the better. My favs are Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, Jacob's Ladder, Sin City, Donnie Darko, and A Scanner Darkly. I am a huge Tim Burton/Johnny Depp fan(they usually go hand in hand) but if the story is twisted and the ending blows my mind, I love it.

Cicade de Deus (City of God, from Brazil, just a crazy stylistic film)
Irreversible (by far the most intense film I have ever seen, extremely unsavoury)
Pan's Labyrinth (saw this one recently, it's awesome!)

Hmmm can't think of anymore off the top of my head sorry...

I just read the book of The Green Mile, but I have never seen the movie. The book was great, and I really want to see the movie now. Going to have to give it a rent (and burn).
