Is there a trick to using an Acekard theme with AKAIO?

I downloaded a couple of themes from ndsthemes.com, but when I select them, the clock/calendar does not show. Do I have to modify the theme somehow?

Thanks...

I used the theme maker from Acekard and it works in AKAIO. I guess you have to modify it with the theme maker. Also, I have no problems with pre-packed themes. I guess it depends on the style you get.

For whatever skin you have, create a new folder called "calendar" inside the skin folder.

Cut-Paste these files from the skin's folder into "calendar".

clock_colon
clock_numbers
day_numbers
year_numbers

Tada!

The ndsthemes.com themes are missing the clock/calender pictures. Not an AKAIO problem but ndsthemes.com themes problems.

Yeah, I just discovered the calendar issue, too (and how to fix it thanks to some folks at NDSthemes.com and here.) I'm going to see if that's something NDST can fix for AK theme downloads or at least put in some text describing what to do with the files to get them to work properly.

any theme i make only has a clock. i have no reason to clutter my top screen with a calendar and other useless info. i already know what day it is =)

Lucky for some I barely know what day of the week it is let alone the actual date

I initially had the same concerns 3 months ago, but soon realised what was wrong when I compared them with Normatt's AKAIO default theme.
The themes @ NDSthemes do all have the calendar, clock, etc. If you read the print beneath each & every theme screenshot, it states you need to create a folder named "calendar" and place said folder within the individual theme's folder, then place the 4 files from the downloaded theme (clock_colon, clock_numbers, day_numbers, year_numbers) within it.
Voila! It's as simple as that. Somewhat surprised with Normatt's response, all the same.
