Game Name: コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ LOST COLORS (Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion: Lost Colors)
Developer/Publisher: Bandai Namco Games
Release: March 27, 2008
Genre: Visual Novel

Does it have lots of text?
yes
Why I don't think this will come out in the West?
it's held as one of the best anime by a lot of fans but it has some very clear flaws that even it's fans agree with, and I've never seen anyone not like it and be like bad for it. It's a good anime with good characters, good plot, and a great ending that's really it.
What is it about?
in Code Geass: Lost Colors the video game there are several different endings and clips of Lelouch that involves the main character Rai. In the first scene of the game, Lelouch, along with Milly, were the first people Rai meets when he enters the school before he went unconscious. After Rai woke up several days later, Lelouch immediately had doubts about him and was shocked that Milly made him a student, but was reluctant to accept him.

Why I don't think this will come out in the West?
we didn,t had much games in gundam series in usa or europe
What is it about?
Gundam Memories is a hack and slash/3rd person shooter game that takes place entirely on a zero-gravity plane, allowing players to move about freely in any direction, similar to Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space, though in a somewhat limited fashion. Before battle, the player can assemble a squad of three and can switch between members at will with those on standby recovering health. The X button has the unit boost forward though the analog stick allows them to move in any direction. While holding R button, either holding back or forward can allow for altitude control. Holding the O button allows the player to defend themselves from any attack to reduce damage and double tapping in any direction executes a burst of speed that temporarily renders the mobile suit invincible. The player can attack using either close-range weapons or melee combat with the Triangle button or use firearms with the Square button. Tapping either of these extends the attack in a combo or employs the use of other weapons. Some mobile suits also have a charged attack which either produces an unblockable melee attack or a much more powerful weapon. Unique to this game is the SP Gauge which has a number of usages and is filled by either dealing or receiving damage. Pressing Triangle and O activates an Awakening mode which consumes less thrust, speeds up and strengthens the mobile suit while unlocking other functions and weapons. Depending on the mobile suit and pilot, these changes can vary such as the mobile suits from 00 using Trans-AM or Kira, Athrun, etc using SEED factor. Pressing Square and X will initiate a Quick Attack which consists of Quick Time Events of the user attacking with multiple weapons and techniques, not unlike those seen in RPGs and the attacks. The strength of the attack varies on how quickly the player can input the button sequence, ranging from Excellent to Nice. Depending on the rating, the attack may either land successfully, be defending against, missed or even countered. This can also apply to the player too if they wish to avoid damage. After the

Visiting the shop allows players to customize and upgrade mobile suits, unlocking new attacks or extending their Quick Attacks to the point of allowing teammates to attack in unison. Mobile Suits are unlocked by playing through the game's mission mode and clearing specific missions divided up into ranks. A survival mode exists for each rank into a total of 6, the first five of which are chosen by the player.

The game's story mode features Gundam SEED Destiny, 00 and Unicorn up to the third episode and cutscenes are told via text with still images of the characters.

Game is a bit hard and will require you someone with font hacking knowledge, as the game doesn't have any halfwidth gylphs, other than that, the game uses an easy structured .pac archiving system, which contains multiple files that are compressed with lzs algo.

Images are using gim format.

I'd like to see "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjou No Kizuna" translated into English. Someone tried translating it, but I haven't seen anything new.

Game Name: Taiko no Tatsujin Portable DX
Developer/Publisher: Bandai Namco
Release: July 14, 2011
Genre: Music/Rhythm

Does it have lots of text?
I don't know.? The game has a story mode but I don't know how long it is. I haven't investigated that part of the game because of the language barrier. Besides that there is only menu labelling and the song list. I honestly don't care very much about the story mode so a menu only patch would be fine.
Why I don't think this will come out in the West?
Because Bandai Namco won't just go back and localize and old games they have.
What is it about?
It's a Taiko no Tatsujin game, so taiko drumming.
Popularity in Japan:
I really don't know, it's a kinda obscure franchise so just searching "taiko portable dx perception in Japan" didn't net anything. I don't really want to go through the effort of researching something in a language I don't know, sorry.

Why I think it needs to be translated?
I don't know any of the song titles because I can't read Japanese. This is a problem if I like a song and want to listen to it elsewhere.
What I can do to help:
Playtesting.

Sorry if the formatting is a bit off, I copy pasted this into obsidian to write it.

I'm remaking the request I made years ago and I forgot the info to my old account, so I'll be posting the slightly better one here also, please go to page 5 as this is a new account I made and I can't post links nor images yet.

Game Name: World Neverland: Qukria Kingdom Stories
Developer/Publisher: Althi
Release: February 16, 2012
Genre: Life simulation with a dash of rpg elements.

Does it have lots of text?
It does have a lot of text, but not to extent of Animal Crossing
Why I don't think this will come out in the West?
For starters, it was a jpn only and the psp is already dead here at the west. Not to mention that some of the lore in this game got mention in the latest, and the only release we got in the west, is World NeverLand Elena Kingdom. Now, I love reading lore and all, but I keep wondering what it's like to play the game, that isn't Elena Kingdom, if it was release to the west. Since Elena Kingdom, and the first two games of the world neverland series, has released on Steam, The psp of this game hasn't gotten a steam release yet, but hey, it wouldn't hurt to translate the psp first before translating the ones from steam that hasn't been translated yet.
What is it about?
You're a traveler that has just arrive in a kingdom which in this case Qukria. Now, you could stay as a traveler, but you could simply just become the citizen, which you can enjoy your life where you get married, have kids, etc. Of course, if you want some good old basic rpg, this game has it and also got some jobs related to combat!
Popularity in Japan:
Released in the year of 1997, which predates The Sims by the way, the game is going strongly for the Japanese fanbase and the latest release has recently got the steam version, which I'm very happy about. However, the first two games on steam and this one here for the psp still hasn't got an English translation, so it's up to the Eng fanbase to translate unless Althi themselves decided to have it updated to include the English translation.

Why I think it needs to be translated?
Honestly, while they did port the first two on steam, it's not in English and I'm pretty sure it's going to be same for this one and other games minus Elena kingdom to be released without an translation for the west. However, I like to have the psp version of Qukira translated first since not only I'm planning on getting a homebrew PSP in the future, but I always wanted to play it on my own psp.
What I can do to help:
Test out the game to check out the Eng text issue.
Be moral support to those that are suffering from translating a game on a very dead psp
Give out interesting info regarding World Neverland.

Haha it's not, i quickly changed the text of the game and built a new build just to see how the font looks like.
Ah, it's a font issue then... maybe the font was made for the Japanese language instead of...you know...English. I don't know much about fonts, but hey, I can always give out two cents and learn something new while I'm at it.

Lol yeah, it uses the system font, but the draw function draws everything as one width, this is usually used on kanji characters to make it look like a table, every character has the same width.

I see! I guess I can wait until someone makes a hack to fix the issue of the system font.

Question: if there's no evidence a game is being worked on or translated anymore, is it alright to request it again?

Asking because a lot of the games on the "do not request" list in the OP post don't have anyone working on them anymore. Either they don't have a released patch (abandoned before a single release), only got a menu patch, or existing incomplete translations have been abandoned.
