Hello!!! :D

I have a friend which is a beta tester for me which has his Wii U hacked with Tiramisu method, and he's testing my custom Wii U forwarders that i've made for my custom Single ROM Loaders.

The problem is that these only work when not running on vWii overclock mode, and when these are attempted to loaded using sign_c2w_patcher (for enable vWii overclock), these just go to black screen, even when he has everything saved on the SD card.

Any suggestions for solve this? :(

Thanks :)

Overclocked forwarders are broken on Tiramisu. That's why I never made the switch from CBHC

Sorry but that's wrong, I use overclock vwii with tiramisu without problem.

@SaulFabre The thing is: When a homebrew does its own IOSU exploits it will get in conflict with the CFW. Sometimes this works but sometimes it doesn't. Tiramisu is way more sensitive to that than previous CFWs where.

Now the old sign_cafe2wii patcher uses its own IOSU exploits. Maybe try this one insead which uses libiosuhax instead of exploiting IOSU: https://github.com/V10lator/sign_c2w_patcher/tree/4SF (note that this is quick&dirty + untested).

Hi,

First, thank you @SaulFabre for your contributions to the wii hacking community. Very helpful stuff you provided!

I would also be very interested to get sign_c2w_patcher working in Tiramisu environment, in order to get full speed N64 emulation.
I am actually considering moving back to CBHC for that reason.

Is "this version" assigned to the inject or sign_c2w_patcher?
I tested with the version of fix94 the injections of SaulFabre and I had no problem to launch them. In my opinion, people forget that the injection must be installed on the nand and not the hard disk, otherwise a black screen or they have an old version of Tiramisu. I just did another test and no problems with me.

For reference, I'm on latest Tiramisu.

I tried out the old sign_cafe2wii patcher provided by @V10lator and I get instant freeze on HBL.

I did try out the latest sign c2w from fix94 from his github) and the WiiU reboots, I am also able to run a WII64 Rice forwarder fine. However, performance ingame (Goldeneye 64, Banjo Kazooie) doesn't seem improved.

Is there a way to confirm the overclocking is actually working ?

Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive

@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are

@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously

@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment

On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
