Nintendo has pushed back the release date of Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, previously scheduled for launch next month. The reason for the delay was, "in light of recent world events", and sees the remake being delayed indefinitely for now. Nintendo says to stay tuned for a new release date. The game was already delayed once before, having been originally set for a December 2021 launch.

The US is involved in Yemen. Nobody sanctions the US or postpones games when it invades countries. Advance Wars is much more fictional and cartoonish compared to war games about the Iraq war that game out while its consequences were still unfolding. Ukraine and Russia are neighbors. Neighbors have clashes much more often (see Armenia, Azerbaijan) and usually invoke less of an outrage.

I for one don´t care about this release. I have played both games in recent years. I find the justification ridiculous. Maybe Zangief should be removed from the next Street Fighter game. If this conflict drags on for years, a release date will not become more appropriate.

I am not pro-PRC. I wouldn´t go to the island of Taiwan and feel the need to promote or demonstrate for PRC. I am pro deplomacy, anti colonialism and anti Western supremacy (which is white supremacy).

If you cannot endure different opinions without unleashing a waterfall of tears and nazi terminology ("strangle", "tumor", "underhuman"), I suggest you use the "ignore" function.

I admire the results the PRC delivers through the CPC. But if the Chinese people choose a completely different way of governance - even one that effects me negatively or bans me, I wouldn´t try to fight it openly or secretly. This is what distinguishes you and me.
