How should I set the .ini config in orther to make the game fill the full screen? I have varios games patched to display natively in widescreen I seing them in a tiny square is horrid.
Check the important posts for this thread. Click the better write up one from @Levine91 . There's a cheat sheet for the config file. Widescreen can be set by changing the entry to "1"

Thank you. Do you have links to replace the controller screen from the Japanese one and to change then images on the sides? I thought I had the right wallpaper files from an earlier post but it doesn't apply right.
You can change the language and wall paper via the options menu when you boot the game on the switch. Just hit the "-" button on the switch and navigate to the relevant settings.
Changing the actual images for the controller setting screen is quite involved as you need to convert the images to .tex files. I haven't bothered yet and nobody has uploaded .tex images for this screen to my knowledge.

Don't bother with the master USHS guide. Just use the base and download the updates when prompted. Don't forget the texture file that cucholix shared to hide the options menu. Follow Pbr's guide from around page 40-ish. Shout if it's not working

Not sure what's going on here. If you've not generated any working NSPs yet keep it simple. Just use Guardian force.

Also use DBI. I normally used Tinfoil but I had problems. DBI is nice and easy to use - you can transfer via USB just like with Tinfoil. I actually prefer it now.

New version is pushed, it include a prod.keys save function to pass this demand on each injection and now the ini file is left as it is in the romfs folder of the game if custom ini isn't set.

EDIT: Might want to disregard, redumping the NSP fixed the issue.
May have been a fluke.

Thanks! Would this new version help with the issue of custom inis sometimes making the game softlock while tinkering in the games' options menu (making a save state, rewinding, changing language etc. ) ?

No and my script couldn't do anything for that, this is a problem with the ini file itself and with the emulator. If someone patch the emulator to fix some problems it's possible to improve this but it's clearly out of my skills, I've tried to change the path of the files and no luck so fixing something like this I could come back in some years or maybe lifes...

Hey! Two things:

(1) I'm having an issue getting my ini edits to take effect. I see this in the instructions:

"Make sure to delete your save file after making any changes to the .ini config, otherwise the changes will not take effect!"

Which "save file" are we talking about, here? Despite changing WideScreen to "1" and saving the ini file, loading the emulator still displays it without widescreen. I did briefly play Sonic 3D Blast and create a save state, but I'm not even sure where that's located.

(2) I see that some games need overclocking to work, like Virtua Fighter Kids. I know how to do that in RetroArch, but not in this scenario. Is it another edit to the ini?

1: It's the save of the game on the Switch.

2: You can overclock with Sys-clk module.

Thanks so much!

(1) I erased the game save data for the Saturn Tribute game, re-launched, and wide-screen worked! ...sort of. There's still a skinny bar on the left and right of the screen just barely showing the default Cotton 2 border. Is this the best we can do for now? Or can I get these skinny bars removed too?

(2) Save states were working fine before I tried out the sys-clk module. Since then, I merged the newest (1.0.1) release of sys-clk to my SD card, changed "config.ini.template" to "config.ini", edited it to overclock the CPU in all three states (docked, undocked but charging, undocked and not charging) to 1785, popped the card back into my Switch, booted into atmos, launched the Saturn Tribute game (while undocked and not charging), selected Cotton 2... and the game (Sonic 3D Blast) still boots and plays great (it was fine already before), but now SAVE STATES are BROKEN. They used to work just fine. Any idea what I can do to remedy this? I didn't overclock memory or GPU, just CPU, could that be why?

Thanks so much! (1) is straightforward then, I can take care of that. This is the first I've heard of the sys-clk module though. I looked it up, and it says "sys-clk-overlay requires to have Tesla installed and running", and Tesla seems to replace the Homebrew launcher, which I don't want to do... Could you explain this more?
No, Tesla doesn't replace the homebrew launcher, test it by yourself to see what it is or/and read the Github's readme of the projects.

Just wondering maybe I’m not searching right but is there a program that can lower unnecessary mb to a saturn game. For example I download a game that is 500mb and the program could possibly lower it to 250mb.
