There is nothing we can do at the moment. We need to wait for somebody to compile a boot.firm that is compatible with the latest firmware

If people still use this fork, I can update it with the most current Luma3DS release (v10.2.1) sometime in the next few days.

EDIT: Updated the Git repo to have all changes up to v10.2.1. I'll compile it as soon as I have access to my desktop computer.

Here's a compiled boot.firm from my repo... be warned I just blindly compiled it and haven't tested it on an actual 3DS (I don't really have access to mine for a while), but I didn't write any code, just merged newest Luma with my fork. Try it and let me know how it works, but be wary!

No. You have to obtain your own OTP from an unbanned 3DS for your banned console. I don't think sharing someone else's OTP is allowed on the forum.

otp.bin is console specific.

I have tried linking a separate NNID to the unbanned console and it seems to work without issues, although updating to the new luma 12.0 will break it. I am hoping for an update.

Hello everyone!
I come with an update, compiled these changes into the latest Luma3DS commit and can confirm they work!
Used an otp dump off of a JP o3DS I own on my n3DS XL EU system, and, it worked with some caveats.

This was a console previously banned due to Miiverse posts and has been for a very long time now!

It's also worth noting, there's no need to use otptool or the python scrypt anymore:
On your unbanned console, Open up GodMode9.
Navigate to M: Memory Virtual
Select and Copy "otp_dec.mem" to "/gm9/out"
Rename "otp_dec.mem" to "otp.bin"
Copy "otp.bin" to "/luma/" your banned console.

And as proof, here's the results on my personal N3DS XL:
This NNID was created around 10 minutes ago, as of course, you can't reuse your old one.

And if for some reason you want proof it was banned, refer to this thread (from when I was but an idiotic child)

Additional Information:
Using a mix-matched Console OTP can and WILL cause issues when updating your console, as it'll request the wrong update for your system. Installing the Old 3DS firmware onto a New 3DS and vise versa.

Though, for just unbanning the console, it does indeed work. You just can't access the eShop.... or most NNID services as it'll ask for a System Update.

So while it works and will allow you to create a new NNID, you can't access or do much else.
