What a mission seem Im going to lose all my data with this ...........Is this really necessarily ??? How many people had to install firmware by recovery console to get a jailbreak working ? That file is 1gb and its very slow in downloading

you only have to install the recovery update if you're swapping hdds or you've formatted the one you're using.

Try clearing your cache then shut down ps4 restart re-cache exploit and try again
There really should be no need to restore if your already on 7.55

I'm think it most likely won't work to prevent accidents. I know that the normal update won't work if the files aren't on the hdd, which is what the recovery update is for.

none of the playstation updates, ps3, vita, or ps4, probably ps5 too, are region locked.

I have a Japanese ps4 myself, and I used the update link for 5.05 from @KiiWii 's thread. he's in Europe, and I had no problems.

My ps4 keep downloading the 8.03 firmware -can that stop it ? How do i stop it from downloading the update

to prevent updates, use a dns, update blocker, or self host. if your hdd is getting corrupted somehow, get the exploit to run and get those saves off of there. if you're activated, I think you can use exporting. if not, you have to get the exploit to run to use that or save mounter or account activator to get the saves off of there. I don't know what to be about trophies, if you care about them.

Update blocker is pointless on 6.72-7.55 because of the way the PS4 system processes kernel panic and database rebuild.
