Wipes personal information from your Nintendo Switch by removing it from prodinfo.

purpose
a) So your switch can go online without worrying about a ban or using random dogdy DNS servers that are also likely to get you banned.

b) so malicious homebrew applications cannot steal your personal certificate.

This application backs up your prodinfo to the SD root, you should keep this backup in a more secure location, and not leave it on the SD card where malicious applications can read it.

edit: atmosphere blocks writes to CAL0, so you must use ReiNX or SX OS to install this. Once installed, you can switch back to atmosphere.

Yes ReiNX is deprecated and is no longer updated, SXOS is uncertain of future




It's not just prodinfo, it's the consoles internal certificates which are banned (which are stored in prodinfo iirc)

How do I check if sx os will get a future update, and reinx is dead?

Quick question, I just used incognito and my serial number is now coming up as XAW**********************01, does that mean I successfully used incognito and can remove the 90dns settings from my internet settings. Curious because I still intend to use the stock sysnand for online mario kart and etc.

If it says xaw0000000001,
Your good to turn 90dns off if you want. If your using atmosphere, you can also use the prod blanker in one of the confi files (can't remember exactly which one)

Ok thanks just wanted to make sure, because every video I have seen about Incognito has the serial number just blanked out, and just didn't want to wait an eternity for my portable from collection to transfer over with 90dns.

Wow this thread has more deleted posts than any blackops operation protocol has blackened lines.

Also i cannot understand why this should be interesting. It does achieves EXACTLY the same as 90dns only in another way. But this has the risk of deleting your Personal info forever if you do something wrong, while you cannot do anything wrong with 90dns. I mean yeah there is a slim chance Nintendo somehow still gets to your console but on the other hand they also could flag your MAC Address or IP as soon as a Console without Personal Information even tries to go online and kicks your butt as soon as this MAC Address or IP goes online for real the next time. I mean i know that its not that easy, but still i think its just doing the same but way more difficult, complex and dangerous then with 90dns.

hello everyone, so i have a homebrew 3ds and my friend told me not to hack my switch but then i read comments on here about incognito and 90dns that prevent the nintendo servers from reaching my console, and i feel so relieved that there is a programme out there that can do it, waiting for my 64g sd card to arrive by courier then im getting down to bussiness, question, once i homebrew and run tinfoil, im going to download the nsp (games) from nxbrew online then transfer the games on my switch, should i run incognito and 90dns at the same time before ever going online, all i want to do is play the games and play them solo, im hanging out to download monstor hunt rise once my switch is homebrew, can anyone give me any tips on how i should do all of this in order so i dont get banned im looking up youtube videos as well

Make a nand backup before doing anything. Highly suggest setting up emunand for 3 reasons.
1) brick protection
2)when installing nsp's,nsz's, xci, etc, it leaves logs and various other things that could be detected if you ever removed all cfw.
3) depending on which version of incognito you use, it'll wipe your serial number preventing you from ever going online. Of course you can back this up but its Highly suggested to use it only on emunand.
(The last warning is if you use incognito_rcm, incognito.nro, tinfoil's incognito. Atmosphere's version of incognito isn't as permanent like the others)

1 - USE HEKATE TO MAKE A FULL NAND BACKUP (RAWEMMC + BOOT 1/2) backup this backup
2 - You can run both 90dns and incognito at the same time - newer versions of Atmosphere also have an inbuilt dns setting now
3 - Setup Emunand - Use sysnand for official and legal stuff, use emunand for cfw and hacks/homebrew. Do. Not. Mix. Them.

i just realized that i need to get the usb c to usb a cable then i have everything i need (rcm tool, 64 sd card microdia sd card reader that has a usb port to plug into the computer when transfering downloaded nsp or xci games to the switch, and following all protocol so i avoid bans, im buying the cable tmrw, cant wait to do this, should i cancel my subscription to nintendo i wonder,
