Well I haven't seen things crop up midway, but I can't tell you that it won't happen with any game out there. What I have seen is A) games failing to boot, and B) Super Mario World Advance loads but the scrolling goes haywire on like the second map.

was that with the latest version? is there a compatibility list out for GBA?

Hi everyone, just a question... (hoping is the right thread)

For a white n3DS XL I'm trying to obtain this result [ attached ] in every games:
Black borders and bottom screen--> to--> White ones

But I can do it just on SNES and NES games with the options in Snes9x and VirtuaNEs injectors.
Can't find a way with other consoles (GB, GBC, GBA, Sega Mega Drive, Sega Master System... DS, Neo Geo, Capcom...)
and injectors... ( Virtual console specially has something so, but works only with pixel perfect... and no bottom menu setup)

Can someone help me?
I tried also to extract files from working .cia to search something related to background, borders, images or similar but...
for what i know (not much:unsure:), not even a line...

Could there be a common method for all to do this ?

Is there an option to add custom frames at the edges, in the perfect pixel mode of GBA games, as in Gameboy and Gameboy Color games?

I can't save GBA CIAs at all! I just ended up making my CIA for Mario Kart: Super Circuit, I want to export it as a CIA and when I go save it the file has no name and doesn't appear on my files at all!

Like I put it on my downloads but when I try to drag it onto my 3DS SD card it says it has been moved, WHERE IS IT!?

Where can i get the Beta 28 ? Im always only finding beta 27, i love this project btw , such a nice work as an all in one tool.

@Midgard95 there's a "debug build" of beta 28 which you can find if you go to Asdolo's profile page, then look under his "Postings" - right now his third most recent posting (Aug 19 2020) is to a debug build of beta 28 hosted on Dropbox. (Sorry, I'm too new to the forum to post hyperlinks ha).

@RowanDDR it's a program which generates installable CIA files for games from a variety of systems (GBA, SNES, PSX, etc.). It takes your ROM and "injects" it into a new Virtual Console executable you can install on the 3DS.

What are the drop-down numbers in the GB and GBC options for? Below the option for disabling the power LED. There's options for 0-4 of something.

So it seems like there is a compatibility issue with the hack of Earthbound (USA)
Called "Mother 2 Deluxe" :

Noticed that only the latest nightly builds of emulators can run the game without graphical glitches.
Is there a github or discord for this project ?
Nice work so far and looking forward to the next public release.

From what I can tell, NSUI downloads images from github dot com slash libretro-thumbnails. It should not be too difficult to either change this in the binary itself, or to redirect this to a different source. In any case, the easiest solution is just to (manually) get images from there directly.

(sorry about the mangled link - I am a new member and cannot post links directly)
And where is the binary of the NSUI, I wanna try it so that I wouldn't spend a lot of time collecting box arts and title screens :(

I'm having a similar problem, but NSUI simply isn't exporting my .cia files. I've attempted to export a GBA game (Pokemon Fire Red) to .cia using the program and am allowed to choose where it will export the file, but it doesn't show up in that directory. Any ideas as to why this might be happening? I can't seem to find someone else with the same problem.

EDIT: I was attempting to use the program on Beta 26. I managed to find Beta 27 online and used that instead, and now my .cia exported successfully.

Do you have the link to Beta 27?

hello,

thanks for this awesome tool

ive done two nes roms, batman and rad gravity and both are their musics speed too fast on my 3DS after cia installation (60hz maybe)
with retroarch on my pc, the nes files have normal speed musics.

have you already discuss this issue ?

thanks

Have you tried using Beta 28? It may fix the issue.
