No that title is not lying, a spike of motivation sparked between this very community lead to the start of a very ambitious project, the Among Us 3DS Recreation!
Me, and @LH4005 and other wonderful contributors, the project is being worked on to this day with high efforts (i'm talking 9 hours of optimizing).

So let's start with the first line of questions,

Q. Release date?
A. No one knows

Q. Is it going to flop?
A. Hopefully it doesn't, we are working hard to get it out to the public ASAP

Q. How can i get updates?
A. We have a discord server with as of this thread 400+ members join here:

I'm not really sure what I'm looking at, did you guys use a Unity decompiler on the game, or are you planning on programming the entire game from scratch with a new engine? If this is all being made from scratch, I think this project'll end up going the way of every fan hack that gets announced too soon. Always put your goals within capability, though if you guys do manage to make it far in this project I'll be pleasantly impressed.

I can't believe that post from someone asking for an Among Us port for the 3DS really resulted in something in the end.

I am happy to see that the 3DS scene is still active, it is very good to see that there are still people developing something for him.

If you are gonna use assets from the original game, make the final release force the user to provide these in order to run it (AKA the user needs to buy the original game first), else this will end bad.

that's exactly what we will be doing, you need a license of either pc or switch or any paid version, to get the cia
