I'm not sure. I think it might depend on the game. a lot of games with systems will default to the home menu language.

Oh okay... Also I will give for some months my 3ds to my brother so I would like to know if the 3ds can auto update ? Also are there some things that I have to tell him not to touch or do ?

Okay good to know... So what have I to tell to my brother not to touch ? And is it possible to hide icon of apps as fbi or luma updater ?

you can use 3dsx versions of them. rosalina should be tied to something like download play, which will make the homebrew launcher launch if you select download play. that's the only way I know of to "hide" apps.

Probably the best thing to tell him is to not uninstall any of the Games you've installed, since it'll be a pain to reinstall.

There is a semi-complicated way to hide these Applications, but it is doable for a normal user like myself so it should also be manageable for you.

The solution I'm suggesting is, before installing any Games, to install 3DSBank and to then create a new 3DS Menu where you'll install all the Games into.

The 3DSBank Icon is pretty inconspicuous so you can place it into a normal Folder and nobody will think it's out of place.
What a new 3DS Menu does is it gives you a new, blank slate, where only the default 3DS Applications show up and others like Luma Updater and Homebrew don't; to get into Homebrew, you'll have to assign it to the Nintendo eShop Application, via Luma.

Additionally, once you have 3DSBank, you can overcome the 300 Title limit by creating new 3DS Menus and installing more Games, as long as your Micro SD has enough space.

I hope this helps.

I am going to install the games from a French website but there are 2 catégories :
Rom cia and rom eshop cia

What are the differences ? Also ROM CIA is the same as CIA ?

never heard of rom cia or eshop cia, but logically, I'd assume rom cia is an injected cia while eshop cia is a legit cia.

I suppose that "rom cia" is about "dumping from game physical cartridges" cias, and "eshop rom cia" is about "dumping from eShop only available digital content" cias. And yes, both are referring to .cia format files (installable with FBI).

But, is better if you don't ask more for this kind of topics, having in account the forum rules about warez and piracy

I see no logic in making that distinction. I converted my cartridge games to cia back on gateway, and nothing was different about them.

At the contrary, I actually see that logic. There are exclusive games on cartridges, and exclusive ones for eShop digital download. While a few of games are available on physical and digital format at the same time.

Edit: Obviously, I talk about official games in original format

whatever, man. the cia files work in exactly the same way, you install them in the same way. that's like saying psn pkg versus retail pkg for ps4 titles. they don't do that, because it makes no sense and just adds confusion.

the fact that that member had to ask the question proves my point.

Should I choose another website ? Because this one provide a lot of .CIA games in French so I don’t want to change...

On this website, there are : ROMS DS/DSI, ROMS CIA, ROMS ESHOP CIA and ROMS GAMEBOY, I don’t know why there is written ROMS

And for the ROMS ESHOP CIA, it is written « EShop games in cia format only playable on a 3DS console under CFW Luma! »
And for the ROMS CIA : « Games only playable on a console with a CFW (Custom Firmware)

Please, don't asking for links to warez. Better follow my advice:

And, any kind of cia that you get need a hacked console (with Luma CFW and FBI available on) to get them work/installed, not only games but homebrews too

sorry, @fmkid , I was playing a game, got killed, then had to start over to do so deathless, and it really made me angry. I shouldn't have taken it out on you.
