A semi-playable third-person mod for Cyberpunk 2077 has been released

Where CD Projekt Red's previous game, The Witcher, 3 had you play as Geralt from a third-person perspective, the developers changed things up with Cyberpunk 2077, making it take place in first-person. Some weren't entirely pleased by that choice, however, and one modder has taken it upon themselves to add over-the-shoulder camera modes to Cyberpunk 2077. Created by a person under the name of Jelle Bakker, the "TPP Mod WIP Third Person" mod adds four adjustable camera angles to the game, letting you see your character as you play. As the name implies, the mod is very much a WIP, because while it does let you play in third-person, it comes with its fair share of glitches, anywhere from not animating at all if you try to swim, or your character model having a few issues with using weapons. If you're interested in trying it out, you can grab it on NexusMods.

Lookie here, the man with the one and only perfect copy of the game!
I questioned all my pc friends in my STEAM list who bought the game, include me had never experienced any issues.

dunno on which platform you played, but if you are on console, sorry man, this game is NOT designed to be played on obsolete HW.

Not defending CDPR here, i would already refunded from STEAM if the game is really that buggy as people over reacted, i believe most complains are from GTX700 or X1/PS4 kids.

I figure that some people like 3rd person but why Cyberpunk? It's a shooter, why would you torture yourself with third person shooting?

Yes you right. It sucks that I don't have thousands of dollars to spend on a mustard pc so I could play CDPR at 4k and 17 fps. I only can play shitty games like the last of us part 2, ghost of tsushima, spiderman, final fantasy 7 remake, God of war and many more boring games like that on my crappy ps4.

I played it on console(PS4), only had like 4 crashes and 3 visual bugs, besides that no problem at all

my PS4 thought it was a plane engine after a few minutes but besides that, all smooth v:

i own ps4 too, what the point? TLOU for me only exists Part 1 and a political abortion agenda part 2, all games you mentioned run shitty 30fps on ps4, which shouldn't be on right 2020 standards, FF7R will have pc port's already confirmed as soon as $ony's exclusive deal expires.

I read on reddit that some ps4 users swapped ps4's HDD with a SSD and had a significant improvement, worth try.
someone played on ps5 through ps4 mode didn't have those visual issues, most probably they due to ps4's slow HDD read speed and limited RAM.

Personally I don't really care about shooting in 3rd person but I really wanted a 3rd person option for this game just so I could see my character whenever I wanted to.

YEP, the game runs greatly on my PC mustard race.

Almost flawlessly, since 8mb save got fixed by update 1.06.
I played on PC and ran into my fair share of bugs. Talked to two other friends who played on PC and they experienced much of the same. I know that the game plays differently on different builds but 2077 is far from flawless on any platform. I liked the game though despite its faults. The bugs were the least glaring problems with the game imo.

there were a huge crashes reported on REDDIT, usually happens when people activated RAYtracing in settings, cauz they don't realize that both 10xx and 16xx series GPU don't have such features and thus had to be deactivated. whenever i saw someone reported the crash on reddit, i always suggest them to double check RAYtracing, and resolved 99% of cases.
Same thing happened to me in METRO EXODUS, the game always crash in certain area, then I realize that the fking devs have RAYtracing ON on default.

I had no idea Cyberbug has no option for 3rd person. Sorry but I don't like fps games.
R* did very well to GTAV with having 3rd and 1st cam.

Never used raytracing and the game crashed on me multiple times. Beat the entire game sidequests and all and saw glitches like bike crashes causing me to fly above skyscrapers, quest objectives not updating, invisible guns/objects, V becoming naked in "The Star" ending because of a glitch when the jacket gets equipped and more.

Third person camera now on GTA feels outdated and unnatural compared to first person view.

The PS3 version truly was a beta version of GTA V, and yet, there are still people playing it online/offline. Heck, just yesterday I played a 1 v 1 match with my nephew, the little shit won almost always (I honestly don't play GTA V so there's that). It was fun despite the dated graphics.
