For people that are searching for MTP alternative and doesn't want to reboot Switch there is an app made by Kefir team called DBI which includes also MTP and is on par with nxmtp in terms of speeds:

For some downside of this app may be that it's close source

Where sad it's so good apart from that.

Anyone can recommend me a good android file manager that can transfer to the switch?
Trying to use this only shows gallery or downloads as options both of which cannot copy/paste to the SD card.

I've always used this one to send things to the SD card. Keep in mind this is not compatible with 11+ fw, tho.

You might want to give retronx-team/mtp-server-nx: A MTP Server implementation for Nintendo Switch (github.com) a try too.

It's the slowest mtp out there for Switch.
You can try tinfoil and DBI.

No special soft is needed on android. System file browser detect connected mtp device and allow copy files to/from it.

At least on pixel 3 device.

I see, you wanna use android to transfer files to the Switch via MTP. Tbh, it should just work as the protocol is supported. Try MTP server and see if you have the same problem

It does not work unfortunately.

It means your phone vendor remove this from your ROM. Sometimes they did it.

Works perfectly. Checked with 11.0.1 and Atmosphere 0.18.

Nothing happen, it might be my cable.

It’s broken on last Sxos, use DBI instead, or Hekate usb features.

Edit : I might be wrong, didn’t check with the last version of Nxmtp, will give a try and report.
