Probably a long shot as 11.0 is stil new, but are there any alternatives so far?

Possibly but the changes are a lot less trivial to fix now. Personally I updated my own MTP responder.

mtp-server-nx is unusable slow for me, could that be ???
Loading feels like showing one more file/folder per seconds, horrible.
And copy rate is awful as well :( And many errors appear.
    With nxmtp it was great.
I use it to connect the Switch by cable to the PC and just copying files to several folders.
Could I have done something wrong here ???

This is undoubtedly undisputed, but as long as no update is available, which is certainly a problem due to the closed source code, I think that currently only mtp-server-nx remains as an alternative.

DBI 206 is the best at the moment. Link
    1. Installs everything without causing errors (where Tinfoil, Goldleaf etc. fail)
    2. MTP responder is extremely fast, faster then nxmtp !!!!
    Good that I found it.

You're right. DBI has been my go to manager for quite some time and was the only reason I was holding off updating to FW 11.
Thank you for your good find.

Thanks for this just trying it now. File transfer seems a little slow but definitely usable!

That's the fastest speed via cable I ever had.
Otherwise you must take out your microSD and connect it direct.
That would be much much faster, sure.

macOS was supported by nxtmtp via the Android File Transfer Agent app.

Is there a corresponding app on the macOS end in order to make the above alternatives work?

    Thanks!

It is not that there are no other ways to transfer data (without removing the SD card). This can be handled very well with Hekate's UMS.

I agree. Hekate file transfer is actually the fastest one I know and it handles small files pretty well compared to other options (try copying gta vice city files and you'll see what I mean :).

Sorry, I "only" use SXOS as a noob, so no UMS for me it seems.
