That'd be pretty dang cool if it could be done, but if it never can, we can at least look to NTRView for the Wii U so we can stream our 3DS playing Sun/Moon to the Wii U. Still gotta wait for the version that will feature Wii U gamepad input control, because right now all that is happening is the video is being streamed to the system and gamepad but you still have to control with your 3DS for the moment.

Do we have like the master source code? some pieces? or the source code from an earlier build? Even if we have the full source code of the released version that alone doesn't guarantee we'll automatically get a Wii U port out of it.

I think only if someone has the complete source code for the game.

It would be really cool to have an HD version of the game for the Wii U, maybe even with improved textures, it could even be something close to the Sword Shield as this is basically 3DS games in HD.

This works only for the New 3DS for now, so unfortunately it is not an option for everyone.
