the vehicles take too much damage and get destroyed too fast...in the original game i did first mission without heavy car damage but in this port my car almost is dead
I've heard of this bug before, everytime people hunk the car gets damaged more.. or something in those lines.
Dude. Thanks! I’m on sxos and gta would crash after a few minutes. With your nsp, I can play just fine.If anyone needs a forwarder nsp, i'd just created one and willing to share mines if needed. (if that's okay with gbatemp staff)

This really is amazing. Great work @Graber !
Is there a controller config file? I've tried reading through this thread but haven't found anything. Can't seem to figure out a good configuration that feels good yet. It's kinda weird mapping the PC controls to a controller.
(Have to also express my hope for a San Andreas port some day.. That would be incredible. GTA3 and Vice City are good for nostalgia but SA is way better in every aspect.)

Oopps... That was all wrong! The real cause of this heavy stutters was some bug I guess (do not use the gamefiles folder from gta3, thanks to romain337).
Restarts the console resolved it to me.

This was about another build of the game. Actually you have to follow the instruction as it is explained in the first post (and so USE the gamefiles provided by the author for use with GTA3). If you try to run Vice City if you compiled it yourself, it is not yet fully reversed and not working. Can you be more specific on this? what do you mean by "do not use the gamefiles folder from gta3"? I have the same problem, that the game only runs with 2-3 fps...

Thank you for the response. So I follow the instruction of the first post but use the GTA VC PC files instead, am I correct?
okay, thanks for the clear answer. To play GTA3 you follow the instruction of the first post.
Vice city is not supported, not yet finished, If you compiled it yourself or find a test build floating around, it will not work.
https://github.com/GTAmodding/re3/commits/miamiDo we have any updates regarding the Vice City port? I can't find any info online about the project.
I’ve always hated the up/down inversion. I’m playing this with “standard” controls for now.okay, thanks for the clear answer.
Do you know by accident if you can change the y-axis to inverted? I really can´t play the game with normal y-axis...
You don’t need that because.....Is it possible to use the 1.1 GTA Patch?
OK, because I am using a Disc Version (GTA - The Trilogy). Not sure if it was included or not.You don’t need that because.....
“Quality of Life patches that aren't present in the PC version are already included, so there's no need to "support SilentPatch", a lot of patches and bugfixes are already included, even more than SilentPatch. If there are other bugs, they're probably new to the project or similar. In the end, everything is going to get fixed.”
