My phone screen sometimes gets stuck, so it sometimes registers ghost inputs or simply stops responding. So turning the screen off and then on usually fixes that. It happened last week and I did that and when I turned on the phone these pixels appeared.

The screen is at it's maximum brightness because I was curious to see if they were completely black or not, it seems they're "stuck" (there's still some color at max brightness) but I can't get them back to normal no matter how much time I leave jscreenfix's tool on.

I don't know what else to try, as research suggests rubbing the spot with something hard, or applying heat with a gun/dryer.
So I'm asking if anyone here has fixed this type of problem before without replacing hardware as research suggests a blown transistor/cap might cause this.

You are out of luck. Either live with it, or get the screen replaced which may cost as much as the used price of the phone itself.
