Dolphin can run this game in 1080p or 4K, but with the Switch version it should be able to run on Yuzu and it's resolution scaling options. that alongside the optimizations Sunshine will get code wise to run on the Switch (Multithreaded and programmable shaders vs fixed function shaders) should help running the game on modern systems without the using widescreen hacks and multithreading "hacks" to run the game at full speed everywhere. depending on how Sunshine was built it may be possible for a 100% working 60FPS patch since modern games usually dont tie as much stuff directly to framerate and should not suffer the bugs 60FPS does in Dolphin.

Dolphin can't run Sunshine at full speed on the Switch though.
That's why this is a pretty big deal. Portable! More portable than a laptop at least.

It's likely going to be 30fps, but still this is nice. Will be interesting looking at the files. Maybe a way to get 60fps with overclock.

BTW, Sunshine in Dolphin VR is amazing. Except for some weird graphics bugs that can be annoying at times. And I couldn't get the stingray at Hotel Delphino to render. Had to spin jump/spray the entire time, finished it my 2nd try so it wasn't bad.
