Tried that a couple times.cant reboot the switch as its in autorcm mode the libusbk driver is fine. Idk wtf. Might do a clean hdd format and win 10 install

I can only tell you to check if the hidden partition is correctly done, idk why this happens but looks like that hidden partition can be easily broken

So, I haven't updated since like 1-2 months before Kosmos shut down. Can I still use SDSetup.com or should I switch to something else?

Secondly, I'd like to connect my switch to my wifi to use homebrew apps to transfer files over my network which is connected to the internet, do I need to use incognito 2.0 or can i do this safely on my emunand as long as i dont launch any backed up games while connected? All my games I have physical carts(not that it would matter to Nintendo) for but I use emunand to back them up so i dont have to switch the carts over.

SDSetup is arguably better than Kosmos as it lets you customize what you want to download. You can also just use 90DNS to connect to your Wi-Fi without connecting to Nintendo's servers.

Hi guys. I'm a few months out of the loop. I put my Switch down in Mid April and started back up today. I've updated my firmware, Atmosphere, and Sigpatches to latest, no problems. But I tried to download the latest tinfoil, and when I boot up it says I have hekate and Kosmos files and it wants me to remove them. I boot with Fusee Primary, but don't we need Hekate for NAND backups? Also, As for Kosmos, I only use the toolbox to manage turning on/off sysmodules. How do I satisfy tinfoil's request without losing functionality on my Switch?

Good, I'm from Latin America and my Nintendo of the year 2017 the sd reader was damaged, now the games and emummc load very slow, I was wondering if I take it to the official Nintendo technical service, they think they will change some part inside so that it can no longer run payloads like athmosphere? or they will just fix the sd reader problem and not touch anything else.

Well your warranty expired, since you ran CFW on it you void your warranty if it still exists, typically they don't service any unit found trace of custom firmware. SD card slot can be repaired if the user solder wire connecting missing connection on the board to the SD card reader.

The console is not banned, the warranty period has passed and in my country they do not sell replacement parts and due to covid 19 the borders are so closed so my only option is the official Nintendo service and I was wondering if they will change anything inside or they will only fix the sd reader, forgive my bad english I use a translator.

If they were going to service it you probably would get a new motherboard, or maybe a unit swap if you pay for the fees, Nintendo doesn't do repair via soldering, so that is out of the way, you probably would get a patched unit if you did had warranty.

Is there anything special I need to do if I want to Factory reset my hacked Switch? I want to stay hacked. I just want to kind of clean it up under the hood. Some of my games are behaving in weird ways, and reinstalling them isn't fixing the problem. For example, ACNH won't load my island, and the NES and SNES apps won't show any games. I don't care about backing up my save data.

ok, thanks for the information, one question, do you think that by changing the board I will no longer run payloads?

Can't use RCM method if you get a patched unit, where it would have to be hard modded with a SX OS Modchip to run CFW.

One last question in my country I looked for screwdrivers and all I found were screwdrivers made in China, do you know if they are of good quality from that country? I would like to open the console myself and see at least if it can be soldered as you indicated.

You would need a precision set screwdriver, like the one in the Amazon link, don't use cheaply made one.

Yeah I know maybe I screwed it up, but recently I installed tinfoil and switch turned off completly because of battery going down and when I try to inject hekate or fusee primary or any other payload it won't boot, was using atmosphere now I really don't know what to do.

Already tried deleting Tinfoil folder, updating sigpatches, deleting atmosphere and sept folder and copying in brand new folders.

Hi i bought unpatched switch and 1024 gb sd card. I put switch in airplane mode powered off and rebooted to rcm. Putted files on sd card booted hekate and made emu mmc. I wanted backup but when i started doing one after like 50 mins it just sayed that some error occurred. I couldnt launch fuuze launcher or boot to cwf. Anynr can hE2lp?

How can I install Atmosphere and remove the Kosmos Stuff?

Only extract the .zip and everything works like like before?

It's been a while since I last updated my Cfw.
