In case you can wait a long long time, maybe... idk.
Nobody knows, sorry.

I have an old modded switch that never went online. And was modded with atmosphere before it had emunand. Which I do have a nand backup I took before doing the mod.
But I also updated the firmware after the nand backup. If I restore the backup to that nand, will it restore to the old firmware? In that case should I update the system using Nintendo server before modding or should I mod it again first and then update with choidujournx?
Also, what I didn't get is, I can go online with a "clean eMMC" and not get banned, what's the difference of a clean eMMC and a not clean eMMC? I though I would have my eMMC modded (and couldn't go online with it) and the sysMMC would be untouched(and I could go online with it without worrying).
Is there a way to go online in a separate nand, while also having another nand that I can mod and not worry about getting banned?
It depends on how you've updated the sysNand. With or without burning fuses, i.e. do you use autoRCM?
I always updated it using choidujournx, and yes. Currently I do have autoRCM
Thanks! I just wanted to confirm that before buying a larger sd(one of the reasons I don't have emunand currently). And wanted to know if I could do that(have emunand for cfw and sysnand totally separate without having risks)
https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-banning-hub-warning.508710/I'm new to Switch hacking but I've installed hacks on my N3DS.
I have a Patched Mariko Switch but I may plan to install an SX Core on it. My questions are mainly about safety from Nintendo bans so if there's megathread or FAQ about being safe you can just direct me there instead of reading my post - and thank you!
Does the SX Core instantly make me vulnerable to Nintendo Bans even if I am just playing my own game cartridges/eShop games?
Mainly I want to hack my Switch so that I can try games before fully purchasing them as well as having my own method to back up my saves but I'm conerned on what makes me vulnerable to a ban. If I've installed the SX Core, will playing my own games online make me just as vulnerable to those who pirate/hack online/use homebrew?
WZNX. There is no application within the Switch that could find them because that would be ban-bait. An example is Freeshop-NXhi guys
where can i get the latest updates/dlcs for game easily? is there an app within switch that can find source them and update?
Use HBG to find, download, and install updates/DLC files for a game directly from your Switch. You should only use HBG on a dirty NAND with Incognito or 90DNS installed to it. Otherwise, it will cause you to be banned.hi guys

if the update data for a physical game exists on the sd card, could i just use that update data instead of downloading it from hbg?Use HBG to find, download, and install updates/DLC files for a game directly from your Switch. If you're talking about an update NSP, then yes, you can install that manually.if the update data for a physical game exists on the sd card, could i just use that update data instead of downloading it from hbg?
The only way to hack it currently is with the TX's modchip, the SX Lite, which has to be soldered. I don't know where you read that 8.0.1 will get homebrew in the future but currently no one is publicly working on an exploit for the Lite. In the theoretical possibility that only homebrew support is released, its as as simple as what it means; only homebrew support means there will only be support for homebrew applications.Just bought a Switch Lite and it came with FW 8.0.1.
I've read that that 8.0.1 will likely get homebrew in the future. Where does this come from? Is there someone working on it?
Also, what does it mean that it will get homebrew but not CFW? No pirated games?
Shutting off the Switch via Hekate does not drain the battery. Make sure you are not plugging in the console into a power source after shutting it off otherwise it will turn back on and boot into RCM which is what drains the battery.I want to completely turn off the Switch whilst on AutoRCM (SX OS), I tried launching Hekate and shutting down from there, and I tried launching the SX menu before boot and shut down from there too but it still drains my battery.
Any possible ways to shutdown the Switch completely whilst having SX OS and AutoRCM enabled?
Thank you!
the update was downloaded from nintendos servers directly while on my clean sysnand, meaning the data is (to my knowledge) encrypted, would this still work?If you're talking about an update NSP, then yes, you can install that manually.
No, you need to install the update somehow on your emuMMC. You have several options:the update was downloaded from nintendos servers directly while on my clean sysnand, meaning the data is (to my knowledge) encrypted, would this still work?
