You Could Play NDS games on Wii, but how about Wii on 3DS?
You Could Play PS1 Games on New 3DS/2DS (XL), and N64 on every (New) 3DS/2DS (XL), but does the New 3DS have enough power to run the dolphin emulator?

Of Course, We could have a options menu saying if you want the Wii Remote to be horizontal/vertical, use the touch screen as moving the Wii cursor, and use circle pad as Nunchuck.
The controls would be:
Wii Remote (Standalone) 3DS Controls | Wii Controls Note: To enter the System menu, press A+B to get enter the Home Screen.
---------------------------------------------------
D-Pad | Dpad
A | A
X | 1
Y | 2
Start/Select | +/-
B | B Trigger
Touch Screen | Wii Remote Movement

With Using Nunchuck, Circle Pad will be Joysick, L would be C, and R would be Z.

So Again, Is it possible to have a Wii emulator on the New 3DS?

Edit: wad files will be installed channels for Wii system menu

Hello.:)

Welcome to the 3DS Section.

Sorry,it is not possible (at the Moment and I fear also not in the Future....:()
Hardware is maybe one of the main Reasons.

Thank you.:)

it's possible for the n3ds to natively run the same game ported over from the wii, but those have a lot of hardware specific tweaks done with the 3ds in mind. but...emulation of a wii game? Nah. Emulation requires quite a deal more amount of power to run the same hardware. Even the most efficient emulators will still require a lot of extra juice to make those translations between different hardwares and calls and whatnot. So it's not going to happen, unfortunately.

But the switch might be able to. maybe. possibly. err...well, maybe.

Trying to get through the initial question: Which game would be worth playing on 3DS, coming from Wii ?
I mean, XenoBlade ? Monster Hunters ? We already got em'.

Maybe zelda games, but we can't even emulate GameCube, so I can't figure how Wii emulating would be possible.

Some people don't have basic knowledge about emulation and how it works. Making fun of them is bad style and a sign of arrogance (even though this kind of topics if often used by trolls to provoke such reactions). In my opinion it is much better idea to give an easy explanation why this will not work (like @osaka35 already did). When random visitors land on this thread from a search engine months or years later it is better for them to find actual information than just "BAHAHAHAHA" and "No."

The new 3DS series might be comparable to the Wii when it comes to computing power and this already shows the problem. Emulating a device, let alone some with a different CPU architecture (Wii PowerPC, 3DS ARM11) require the emulating machine to have way more power then the one you want to emulate.

There is another problem: Wii software runs at 720*480 pixels and the 3DS only has 400*240 + 320*240. Simply scaling graphics down that much would look awful and make text unreadable.

@ToadGod87 Hope this helps you. There is nothing wrong with asking that kind of questions. Do some reading about emulation.

Good luck and have fun!

2K is better the extra 16MB ram really helped

32 megs extra.

PSP 1000 has 32 MB of RAM and the 2000/3000/Go and street have 64 megs.

As for OP.
No, perhaps a POC emulator might be made but a playable one, nope.

This is true for every emulator.
