Pre-registration opened for mobile title Monster Hunter Outlanders, on track to launch this year
After being announced almost two years ago, the latest mobile entry to the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Outlanders, has finally got a release date. Pre-registration for the game opened today, with trailers showing a 2026 release date. It should be noted the App Store page does list an expected December 15th release, though no press release has confirmed this to be accurate. The game is set to be significantly more open and action-oriented than Monster Hunter Now, with the latest trailer revealing a brand new Elder Dragon to fight named Ruger Aidal.
As is common with free to play mobile releases, pre-registration milestones have also been released, with prospective players getting more rewards in-game as more people register. As it stands, at least five million players have pre-registered, with current rewards shown up to the 20 million mark.
