Translation [WIP] FabStyle English Project

There are certain Japanese characters I can't put into Google Translate, but I will try to fix whatever looks weird to me, and hope that the translation looks good.

If the problem is that google doesn't recognize how they look, https://jisho.org/#radical it can sometimes be easier to find them with their radicals (the parts that make up the Kanji, so you just choose a couple parts of it and hopefully it'll find the one you want)

The translation is now finally out for the 3DS version!
If you have Luma CFW on your 3DS or 2DS console, just put the "0004000000071D00" folder in "sd:/luma/titles/", and enable game patching in the Luma config menu.

Lastly, DS version users will not be left out, as the translation for the DS version will still be worked on, alongside the 3DS version.

• Ported over to the 3DS version.
• Updated publisher name to "KOEI TECMO GAMES".
• First e-mail from Alisa, and the dialogue from the first Work Time has been translated. (thanks to Sidier!)
• 3DS: Brand styles and descriptions are translated. (again, thanks to Sidier!)
  DS: Only brand style text are translated.
• "Dress" and "Gown" have been changed to "One-piece Dress" and "Dress" respectively.
• Dresser screen has been translated. Messages remain untranslated.
• Character/avatar setup text has been translated.
• "Arisa" has been changed to "Alisa" to sound english-like.
• "Go" button text has been changed to "Go out".
• "Glossary" button text has been translated.
• Sales text in the Free/Work time menu, has been translated.
• The "Return to title screen?" text has been translated.
• "View Movie" text has been changed to "Movie View".

thank you so much for this!!! the fashion 3ds game community is definitely in need of rejuvenation, i've replayed style savvy god knows how many times now. i wish i could play so many more fashion games but theyre all either shovelware or japanese

I have to go check if anythings happened on my little post about the translation of this game lol I haven't logged in a a very very long Time in hopes that with time things would get better and it seems they have, thank you so much for not giving up on this project please continue to keep us posted , maybe with percentages of progress. Hello! Yep, we're trying to be safe as possible.
As for the translation, I've be working on projects like TWiLight Menu++ and nds-bootstrap lately. But yeah, I do plan on continuing this!

About the Game:
Nope, this is not Style Savvy, more like a mature take on Style Savvy (at least, that's what I think ).
You got fashion items like in SS, but from what it looks like, I think there's a dating mode. So, it's basically Style Savvy, but with dating.
This game has high-quality graphics and sound that pushes the NDS to it's limits, and even the 3DS version looks great!

About this Patch:
This patch will translate most of the graphics (Title Screen, My Room, Dresser, etc.), as well as a few dialogue, to English.
This was made back in August of 2015, so I thought I'd show it off here, as well as work on it more.
An AP patch is built-in to the translation patch, so it'll also work with flashcard firmwares that don't contain built-in AP patching, as well as nds-bootstrap (the backend of TWiLight Menu++).

DS Version
Requires a DS emulator, a DS console with a flashcard, or a DSi/3DS/2DS with the TWiLight Menu++ GUI installed (nds-bootstrap (included) itself, runs the game).

Use the program included to apply the patch to a clean un-patched ROM.

• Tinke and ndstool (via dslazy): Graphics extraction and ROM unpacking/repacking.
• GIMP: Graphics editing.
• HxD: DS banner editing, with adding animation sequence, and calculating CRC16.
• Tile Layer Pro: Editing/adding DS banner icon frames.
• DS-Scene ROM Tool: AP-patching the original JP DS ROM.
• Kuriimu's Kukkii: Extracting the 3DS version's graphics.
• Every File Explorer: Extracting the 3DS version's title screen graphics.

NDS emulator on android? Oh that's gonna be a bit hard xD but I highly advice to wait for the full english patch if it comes out..the person who made the english patch needs help getting more translator to work with them to translate the rest of the game. The only thing that is translated is some parts of the game not everything. So if you are interested in the story then again have to wait or spread the word around if anyone can help out with this project q u q

Sorry for late reply.
If you have the original cartridge, or if the game is installed onto the console, you just need to launch the game, and the translation will work.
