Has anyone seen if there is a way to change Turnip Prices? I am wondering for bringing a legit switch to the town and having them sell Turnips there.

Maybe looking into the code that triggers special NPCs could be worth looking into as well? Haven't gotten Mabel even once rip

Has anyone figured out a code for keeping Nook's Cranny open at all hours? I'd also take being pointed in the direction of how to figure it out myself. Edizon's memory searcher always crashes for me.

I'm gonna keep asking till someone other then myself actually finds the unlock all insects and fish encylopedia, because via the codes I've provided THAT CODE IS NEED and I have no actual coding skills.
Can someone or a group of people actually focus and find this code? ITS DRIVING ME NUTS

It's worth noting people finding these codes are doing this for free and get no reward whatsoever. They're spending time on finding these things to share with other people, so getting impatient and repeatedly asking for it is probably not going to be the most convincing way to get people to work on it.

I know @h448 but youd think that me asking would get some attention, i brought it up PAGES ago and it seems no one is attempting to create/find the code or even take the time to look into it. It just frustrates me.

That is coming at it from a perspective of entitlement; you think that by giving time and waiting (im)patiently, you are entitled to receive what you want in exchange for the time waited. But like h448 is saying, people are just doing this to help; getting demanding isn't going to make anyone want to do something like this more.

And truthfully, I don't think most people enjoy things just being completely unlocked -- most people using cheats are either trying to change a game mechanic like I am, trying to find a way to make it easier so they can experience the content faster, or are just interested enough in code that the challenge is for it. Would you like a code that did absolutely everything in the game there was to do so you needn't play anymore? That's not fun, and it's even less fun if you're demanding it.

I only request that the code be mode because I myself have posted codes to which I know people have used to spawn in all insects/fish/fossils to slot 1 of the inventory BUT they don't get added to your encyclopedia no matter what you do.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

for those that havent been here or just went straight to this page,a save editor is in the works and its not completed yet,the link was provided but if you cant find it just check here https://github.com/Cuyler36/MyHorizons and wait for it to be completed :)

As I told you before. Nobody is going to make this cheat because it is to hard to find. Please wait for the save editor. Or just try to gets all fish and bugs and enjoy the game.

So I tried importing patterns by editing existing pattern slots with data from .acnl files on acpatterns.com and none of them came out right. It doesn't corrupt the save however none of the patterns I tried to import showed up correctly. We should do more research on pattern data before we come to any conclusions on how to inject in patterns with a save editor.

If anyone finds a way to drop fish or bugs to other players that would be amazing! Please and thank you in advance.

For that guy who made the "Bell to Zero" thank you!!
Can you also make for miles?
I kinda feked it up when I forgot to turn off the cheat :D
running on 1.1.0

Forgive me if any of this is wrong, because I only create cheats on PC, not Switch. But if the general structure is the same, then it's almost impossible or merely too time consuming to do this with memory editing. Think of it in 1s and 0s. 1 means the flag is tripped and you have it, 0 means you dont. To find the address, you would have to search in 1s and 0s..which is way too much in the first place because the numbers are too small and vague. Second, you would need a way to "uncatch" a fish.

So basically: Make a backup of your save. Catch something, search for 1. Back up your save again. Delete your save and restore the first one. Then search for 0 again. Delete your save and restore the second backup. Search for 1. Repeat ad nauseam until you somehow narrow your results down by searching for such a low nonspecific number. Or it's not even 1 and 0 and you have to search for an unknown. Which would take even longer.

I'm not even sure if the Switch tools would support continuing a scan after the game is closed either. Once you found the value of the one fish, you could theoretically browse the memory region and find the rest easily enough..but you still have to find one in the first place. Oh and youd have to do even more and find a pointer, so it would work for everyone and not just that one time for you.

yeah all good, just gonna hope that the save editor thats being made does it. Else at this point I have everything done, just OCD flares when I look at the encyclopedia. I've decided to not even look into this problem anymore LOL
