Hacking can't run/install anything since updated to atmosphere 0.10.2/9.1.0

i updated my switch to 9.1.0 and atmosphere to 0.10.2 and now i can't run anything
upon boot i get an error that my game cart couldn't be loaded, i know this is because of the nogc patch thing, i left it as default just in case

but when i try to run anything i get a generic error
if i try to install something using goldleaf i get an error (undocumented error)

i can run homebrew tho

i already tried
- updating sigpatches
- updating kosmos
- trying another sd card
