Homebrew Alternative to Devmenu for 9.1.0+?

I love using devmenu to go reset game versions to go back and play on older, previous versions of games to exploit cheats, etc.
I also like having the option to target game updates only for deletion to rollback the game version.

Now that I've updated to 9.1.0, I'm aware that older versions of unofficial apps no longer work.

That said, is there a version of Devmenu patched for 9.0.0+ or an alternative app that allows me to do such things outlined above (delete game patches only and reset version so the game doesn't nag for most recent updates)?

The definitive edition still works for me on 9.1.0. I installed it before 9.1.0 though. Maybe you just have to reinstall?

Goldleaf can delete updates for games just fine.

Have you found and fix for this I'm in the same problem I have a game that I want to used with out an update. But I tried tinfoil and goldleaf I tried the reset game version on both and still when I open the game I have this force update I need to take in order to play the game.

Goldleaf can delete updates for games just fine.

I tried using the reset game version on gold leaf but after I get the success message I exit and try to open the game and I still see this persistent must update to use game. I have kosmos atmosphere cfw the switch is on 9.1.0 and using the lastes cfw. I'm running the cfw from the memorycard. The goldleaf and tinfoil reset required version dont work how can I fixed this

if you played the game with the update and the save file gets updated too, then its not just the game that need to revert, but also the save, because the save also tell the switch what version it needs to load....(and this is especially true if the game had dlc installed with it, and those get removed....)

I actually deleted my save. The game. The dlc theres nothing then I install just the base game.and this is got happening. With just the game install I do the reset and it says success but then it wont let me start the game still. Is there something else I need to erase?

also im on fw version 9.10 on the switch running the latest atmosphere as well does this work with it?

I use dev menu to do this all the time. Just make sure you delete the update, DLCs, and some games, the save file. Then hit the "Reset Required Version" button at the top

It is against the rules of this site to post DevMenu. Remove it or risk action from the moderators.

i know it needs some Ex patches to work
