Just got back from an early screening today...I will just say that it was pretty intense, immersive, very disturbing, and stayed pretty faithful to the aesthetics of the Kane Pixel Youtube series.
When I was a kid my parents took me to Andorra and we were at a hotel, I somehow decided to go explore it and found an endless amount of stairs and countless doors so since I wasn't reaching the top I just ended up going down again.
I'm just glad no one opened their doors (if even there was anyone it looked spooky as hell with very little light). And no, this wasn't a dream or a nightmare as I also recall taking my sister with me so if we got snatched it'd be partially my fault for both going missing, but Andorra was very safe back then and probably now, still.
That was my "Backroom" and yeah, it wasn't fun.

There already is a movie out that's called the platform but focuses more of a drop down elevator approach where people imprisoned get good food on 1st level but lower levels gets left overs, so rightfully so they end up going insane. Don't know why this movie reminds me of that.
