That's awesome, thank you

That's awesome, thank you
Yeah I found that one last week. I tried it out, it is very performant (on n3ds) and the ui has been resized slightly to actually be functional, as well as having an option to load a rom directly instead of generating the data file (awesome feature). Only downside I've found is that it has the exact same rendering issues on the bottom screen that I found porting it myself, the text is varying levels of messed up (literally indecipherable in a couple places - consequence of the og being for a bigger screen) and it is AI so there will probably be other issues too. Not to discourage anyone from using it if they would like to it does work great and look good imo

Yeah I mean its just how it goes yk I'm not upset about someone doing something to port it themselves, the more 3ds port of anything the better imo. I won't be using AI myself at all for various reasons, and I probably won't pull any changes myself, more likely to take the ideas and overall implementation rather than the specific code. Can't remember if i outlined why the two screen zelda3 was a pain to work with (the original not the 3ds port) but the code was a bit iffy in places as a result of the ai usage and I was going to have to rewrite things to get it to work at a level I still considered not up to standard, so I think it's a much better idea to just write a bottom screen in citro2d directly. But I don't want to discourage anyone from contributing I'm harsher on my own work than other peoples lol. If it works its appreciated!Yes, I can understand how frustrating it must be to invest so much time and effort into developing a piece of software, only to see others achieve similar—or sometimes even better—results with little or no programming experience.
At the same time, I think this is simply the direction technology is heading. Who knows? Perhaps the strengths of both approaches—or even code from both projects—could eventually be combined to create something even better.
