Hi! I'm hoping someone might be able to help. So I've search through the forum and the internet and I'm trying to track down the connector on the Switch motherboard that the Game Card Slot/HeadPhone PCB ribbon connects down into. I've attached a picture with the connector in question circled in blue. To give you some background, I have a Nintendo Switch where parts of the touchscreen do not respond to touch. I've replaced the Digitizer, so I don't believe it's that. I've also swapped out the Game Card Slow/Headphone PCB. If you look closely at the picture of the connector, you can see on the left side that the metal end cap of the connector is missing. I thought I could try jumping a wire across, but I believe that connection makes a connection on the Game Card/Headphone Jack PCB ribbon which in turn connects through to the Digitizer. So if anyone has any ideas on where I can get that connector or other possible ideas on fixing the issue without replacing the connector, I'd appreciate it. :-) Thank you!

Hello, is it confirmed that all the resistors around the BQ24193 are 10K ohms?
I managed to blew some off with the hot air gun when I changed the BQ
When I checked their values on another Switch, some were 10K, but not all of them.

No there's different sizes, post an image of where you've blown them of

Answered it myself,
Its a 20Ball BGA with the Label EN56.
reversed the lines on PCB and found out it has something to do with the Audio Codec Chip.

Hi everyone! Could any of you please help me with the values for this cap that is missing next to the MicroSD card reader connection?

Update: I ended up buying another broken switch to harvest the cap off of after I didn't get any hits on the forums that I posted. I tested it and it seems to be 4.7µF if anyone in the future stumbles across this post.

Does anyone know the value or what type of component this is? Presume Capacitor.

History of the switch, Daughter dropped it in to the dogs water bowl last night while turned on. Saw the screen fade as I was wiping away the water. Stripped down today and cleaned the board with isopropanol in areas that looked corroded (only a few small spots, but board was dry all over), but noticed this chip circled was scorched,

The switch is modded with Atmosphere and has to be RCM with a payload to boot, can detect in windows and seen in TegraRcmGUI. With no payload and with payload injected. So hopefully just that component stopping it from booting.

Thanks in advance

I wasn't sure what it was but thanks for confirming.

Found an issue with the backlight ribbon (Think its that) one of the traces is gone. Must have been when i washed with IPA. :(

I guess there is no fix for this apart from a new screen? or is somthing like wire glue good enough?

I did manage to fix a ribbon cable like yours by using a piece of copper foil soldered across the break but it wasn't as bad as yours, you've only got a small bit of the trace left at the end. If you've got some copper foil it would't do any harm to try it.
