I'm stuck on a screen that says "insert cartridge" when I launch Pokemon White 2. Help?

After I followed all the steps the game shows up on my homescreen, but when I run it all it leaves me with is a black screen. Any tips?

Followed the steps you gave me, still when I go to open a game it either has both screens black or top one black and bottom one white.

Edit: when I go into the app it says "The Dsi binaries are missing please start in DS mode."

What app? TWiLight Menu++?
If so, set DS mode, by pressing Y in the ROM menu, then set "Run in" to "DS mode".

Hi guys... just wanna share something ive found a way on how to make your forwader games play on widescreen on 3ds.... first you need to have twilight menu with widescreen active... then on TWLmenu settings turn on last played rom on startup, then play any game on widescreen then exit.... after that go to fbi>titles> then delete twilight menu++ Last run rom.... then the next time you go to twilight menu it will crash or glitch... the next time you boot your twilight menu gui it will be on widescreen and also all your forwarder nds games also your nds cart games will be widescreen... but not all games will boot some will get the screen software closed...ive try it on my 3 3ds and all the same result.... just dont blame me if anything goes wrong on your 3ds ... sorry for my bad english... thanks

Just tried this, and it works! I don't understand why I had to do this in the first place. Why isn't widescreen from forwarders just an option? Just leave a warning that it'll cause a longer boot time. The boot time isn't even that much longer.

im having this weird issue. im using an r4i gold plus flashcard and making the shortcuts and everything works fine at first, but it seems like after i launch a game and close out of it, if i try launching another shortcut i get this weird version of the flashcard homescreen thats mostly a black background and then my flashcards entire sd card becomes corrupt and i have to format and re do everything. any idea what im doing wrong?

You're doing nothing wrong.
Your SD card is the issue. It could be dying. Try checking it for errors.

I just noticed my flashcard has an RTS on it, should i be copying the "R4i gold, R4i-SDHC" or "R4i-SDHC RTS" onto the flashcard sd?

You forgot to download and/or extract the SD card forwarder pack.

Hi I'm very grateful for the guide (and obviously the forwarder,) sorry to look a gifthorse in the mouth, but will the forwarder3-ds process ever be available as 3ds homebrew? Would definitely be more convenient considering the 40 dsiware limit

I’m getting an error: Start failed. Error error 1 SD card template not found. Press B to return to HOME Menu. Is there a fix for this?

I just wanted to say thank you for this. I have used my flash cart on my ds forever and then when I had found about twilight menu++ I had moved my ds roms over to my sd card and gave my 5 year old my flash cart but now that I have found this I am able to put his ds games on his home screen just like his 3ds, snes, and gba games and he loves it like this because he cand find all of his games on one place.

Hello, i'm having an issue. I just get a black screen after it creates the ".sav" file.
