Hmm... Yea All i can think of is having the ROOT:\\apps\wiiflow both on the HDD and SD, and ROOT:\wiiflow only on HDD then try to boot, making sure HDD is plugged in. If not then @fledge68 would need to help.

But since I basically renamed my old wiiflow folder on my SD card, there's no Wiiflow folder to point to on there. Hopefully something will fix it.

The whole problem i think, is that ur wiiflow isnt mounting SD. I had the problem but beta 14 for wii flow fixed it

You can always try to delete all wiiflow content on ur USB and SD, and download my Danimal Master Piece Pack. If it doesnt work, could be a bigger issue. Try it out. Let me know if it works.

I think thats the issue I've been having with USB Loader GX. It's on the SD card and boots from it, but it's basically not seeing it. Changing custom paths only work for usb1:\ and usb2:\, and it wouldn't read Nintendont on the SD card despite me setting the Nintendont path to SD:\apps\nintendont. Weird stuff.

I'll try out your pack and see if it works.

Try it out, if it doesn’t work, I would wait for a response from fledge tomorrow morning. He knows best and he can troubleshoot better with your syscheck

It almost booted hahaha

It had that loading bar, said "done!" then threw up the error code, now its the typical bootloop.

Thanks for trying to help though. Hopefully someone will come up with something. I would try another SD card but I dont' know where another one that isn't being used rn lol

@fledge68 Would it be possible to have different categories for plugin? For example, with another domain [PLUGINS] instead of [GENERAL] and a dedicated cat list, cat1=Shoot'em up etc...

I'm asking because I'm writing a program to generate the categories based on the databases. And the default Wii categories aren't so adapted for older systems.

I added this to my wiiflow setup and I am using the Wii Classic Pro controller and it still requires me to hit the reset button before it will recognize my controller. Any way to fix this?
Is it at least working with a Wiimote? A bit weird, that it was working for @templar701 and me. I've tried with a classic(not pro). Have you tried from Homebrew Channel first? I don't remember if some settings files need to be created.

I will definitely look into it. but don't we have another problem with categories. the fact that it uses titles instead of filenames. or is that ok? obviously it was wrote that way because gc games don't technically have a filename ... the are all game.iso. unless we would use the folder name. come to think of it nand games don't have a filename either ... they have a title.

so i guess that's why having wiiflow export the gamelist as filename=title would be a good idea.

it sounds like you almost made it. after Done! showed it was supposed to display your covers and you were good.
did it create a wiiflow_lite.ini in apps/wiiflow?
if so open it in a text editor (notepad++) and under [DEBUG] set sd_write_log=yes and save it.
now run wiiflow. after the crash a wiiflow.log file should be on the root of your sd card.
open it and copy and paste the text inside as a reply on here. so i can see it. hopefully it will give me an idea of what's wrong for you.

The author suggest to use Hermes cios 222 to avoid Error #001: 'Unauthorized device has been detected'.when using usbloader gx with suggested cios it works fine but when I tried with wiiflow lite it shows error#001,any way to change the this?

Exporting the gamelist shouldn't be necessary. The plan is to extract the title from the .db files directly.
The thing is it would also need to check if there's a custom title too. That complicate the process a bit.

I might need some help for testing too. That'd be a simple command line tool only. Not sure to finish this stuff. Well, we'll see in a few days...

so here's what I'm thinking.

if a plugin game is found in your databases the ID is saved in the game header.
I would have to change the code to get the ID and use it to get the Title from your db files. just in case the game has a custom title or is using the filename as title.

also i will add to the code string gen_domain. which if normal wii games will be "general" otherwise "plugins".
I might add a button on main categories menu to switch from normal categories to plugin categories. since it is possible to mix wii games with plugins.

I have tried it and it works with

- IOS249[57] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final)
- Language set to ENGLISH
- Videomode set to NTSC.

it works with these Settings on all 3 Loaders.
