So, I've got sysnand on 9.0 and emummc on 9.0 and autorcm enabled. I've never ran cfw sysnand and haven't gone online in either of the other options. Will just having autorcm enabled get me banned if I log into stock sysnand and turn internet on? Can I update sysnand normally through settings or will it mess up my emummc since the firmwares don't match?

Is there a way to dump/extract games or updates from sysNAND using a computer tool? All I really want on emuNAND is Smash for the purpose of modding - to get updates is dumping the entire sysNAND and recreating emuNAND the only option?

Edit: would moving the nintendo folder to the emu folder update everything or does something on emuMMC need to change first?

what are my chances of getting banned, if i restore from a clean nand backup so i can play online with the switch. Im using SXOS right now. and have never been online while on CFW, whenver i update i restore nand first then backup and jailbreak.

If you have a clean NAND dump and have not gone online after dumping it while using CFW or homebrew, then your chances of getting banned are pretty much 0% if you restore that dump.

Quick question pls, I’m running SX OS and have been offline 100%, my son has a switch lite with no cfw. If we both play Pokemon in the house is there way for me to do trades with him whilst I’m offline and running emuNAND?

AutoRCM alone has not banned anyone so far so it is believed to be safe for now. Also emuMMC can be on whatever firmware irrespective of sysMMC.

Now i only need to update my firmware from 6.2 to 9.0.1. However i got this error screen when trying to install

I wonder what should i do? Should i update it one by one 6.2-7.0-8.0-9.0.1 instead of directly at 6.2 to 9.0.1? Or should i choose 9.0.1 on internal storage instead of sdcard? Thanks

Okay, I haven't touched my hacked switch in forever. I want to update both its firmware and CFW, but I have since forgotten how to do both and what files I need, are there any links for both(not links to the files themselves since I know they are not allowed, just want to know what files I need)

The only thing I use it for is for backing up and uploading saves, so I want to know if there is a newer version of the most popular program from last year or if there is a new kid on the block that is superior in every way.

Hi guys. I have been out of the Switch hacking loop for a while so please bare with me. I have 2 Switches: One is for sure hackable, and the other not sure. The hackable one is on System FW 5 or 6 something, and the other is on latest FW. On the hacked one, I have wifi off and in airplane mode, and uses a gmail address for Nintendo account, while the other Switch has a Nintendo Account with my Hotmail/outlook email address. On my hacked switch, I have kept it offline ever since I started doing hacking, which is primarily save editing. On my hacked Switch, since it is on a low FW, I feel that I am missing out on newer games such as doing save edits on "Yoshi Crafted World", "Final Fantasy XII", etc. I also really want to try save editing with Pokémon SW/SH with PKHex. I have a bunch of questions before I proceed:

- Is it worth still hacking my hacked switch?
- Do I need SX OS?
- Do I need to create an EmuNAND? I think I read somewhere that it requires hex editing, which I have little to no experience with.
- What CFW should I go with? When I last injected payload and such, the logo that came up was ReiNX, but am not sure which version I have of it
- How should I get games? Physical or Digital?
- If Physical, how do I go about doing updates?
- How do I get up to certain System FW for CFW and newer games?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated

I've been trying to create a second emuMMC partition. I just write over the first partition rather than writing it to the second partition with each attempt. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Using this guide (https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/user_guide/emummc/partitioning_sd/), I created two partitions for emuMMC rather than one.

Edit: I tried this solution (https://github.com/CTCaer/hekate/issues/246) without success.

Use the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX to update your firmware while you simply put the newer files on your SD card to update your CFW. A best practice for updating CFW is to remove all of the old files first before putting the new ones on the card. And as far as I know, dumping and uploading saves are still done by the ever-popular homebrew applications Checkpoint and EdiZon.

My friend knows I have 2 switches, 1 hacked/1 legit... I told him I will never go online with CFW... but he is asking me to use cheats for rare items, make Pokémon hold it and trade, then go online with legit Switch and trade to him.

I want to do it... but is this safe? I don’t want to get banned on my 3,000+ hours Splatoon 2 account just because of this favour lol

Hi i´m a little noob on the switch stuff. I have some questions if you could help me out. First i´m using a offline emunand with atmosphere but i can´t run the new games like Pokemon Shield. I´m on emunand 8.1.0 with atmosphere 0.9.2. Do i need to upgrade emunand to 9.0.0 and atmosphere to 0.9.4 or i just need to update atmosphere? And how can i do the updates?

So with pkhex releasing for sword/shield i find myself removing my sd card ALOT. So 2 questions here

Is there anyway to avoid having to re insert a payload and restart my console everytime i remove the sd card?

2-Is there anyway to access the sd card and read/write to it while it's inside the switch so i dont have to keep removing it?

hello, been out of the loop for a long time. Last time i checked in was around the time that there was a rumor or someone said that there was going to be a softmod for 3.0.1 which is where my switch has been since the beginning, i havent used it. Did that softmod ever come out? I don't want to fiddle with any hardmod myself and i just need a yes or no question. If it happens to be out already ill just go do the research on how to install but if its not then i don't really have to bother. If there is a softmod but needs a higher firmware than tips on updating to a specific firmware would be helpful.

Hi I have Pokémon Sword on my SX OS switch. I’m wondering if I buy Pokémon Shield on my unhacked/online switch, can I trade Pokémon locally from my hacked switch to my unhacked switch and still play online just fine on my unhacked switch?

I have problem when trying to update my system-firmware on my nintendo switch, the firmware im currently running is 5.1.0 and I'm trying to get to 9.0.1 but I've also tried 9.0.0. When runing ChoiDujourNX v1.0.2 I'm starting the installation but when I've installed 104 NCAs it just stops the last things it said done is "deleted placehld for ...." a lot of times. Does anyone have a solution for this and how to update the firmware it would be really apreciated.

Hi, i just cant install fw 9.0, so i brought it to store and voila i managed to get to fw 9.0

Now the problem is, i download some game that used nsz format instead of nsp. Is there any way i can convert them to nsp or any way to install it to my switch? Tried using nscb.bat didnt work...

Also any tips to add cheat to game? I think i have to use edizon for atmosphere, but still didnt know how to add cheat
