Then I am lost,
that DR exefs control "desired" width/height ? or minimum ?

also your DR exefs file already have modified height/width or that original game resolution?

For example 720p fixed (Dynamic resolution disabled) may cause huge fps drops in combat and town. But using 1100x616 as Minimal Dynamic Resolution exefs patch, you can get both high res and 30fps stable like this:

Here is the patch.
P/s: don't forget OC.

Is this patch for docked or portable?
mainly for portable, don't know if docked mode works, you may try reverseNX to flag it as handheld mode

but with default docked clocks it rarely drop below that resolutions anyway... especially when TAA disabled

If last 2 values are not changed in exefs tweak, then it's working only for handheld.

Wow it really works. Along with the lines we need to add in the settings file, this gives me a locked 30 fps even in Novigrad. And the inventory is not messed up.

This patch is for Minimal dynamic resolution exefs at 1100x616 (the third option in first post)

So all that is left to do is add:
DynamicResolutionOverride=25 in the savefile to get 720p?

Thats what im not understanding either...

And what oc settings do you recommend in undocked with that settings?

Then exefs patch would be pointless.
His exefs patch changes minimal dynamic Resolution to 1100x616

Adding DynamicResolutionOverride=25 disables dynamic Resolution and sets resolution to 1280x720.

You need only his exefs patch + OC.

Additionally
DRCinematicTargetFrameTimeInMs=31.5

Is not messed up, because Dynamic Resolution is not disabled. ;)
Oh, dang thanks. So that was the trick! I was only tinkering with the settings.txt file. That hex stuff looks challenging to me but I'll try. I'd still prefer 60 fps to differentiate this with my PS4, otherwise, I should play in my Pro instead if I want stable 30 with high resolution

Disclaimer: I only said that since I have a PS4 Pro. I don't want anyone getting riled up. Peace :). If you only have the Switch, getting 30 fps with near 720p using this mod plus OC even in Novigrad is awesome. Though I'd prefer 60 fps still. Handheld Witcher sustaining 50 - 60 fps. Who would imagine! And no.. I can certainly set up my PS4 for remote play on my phone and the Pro supports 1080p but remote play relies on connection for streaming and I live in a 3rd world country and the internet sucks unless you give all your money to the ISP so no. "Switcher 3" is the way to go. lol and even with remote play. I can only get 30 fps so this mod still trumps that :)
