You need "dlplay.nds" and "pictochat.nds" in "fat:/_nds/".
Find CIAs of those at "that ISO site", trim the first 0x3900 bytes off of those, then save as .nds files.
i tried this method just now but it gives me white screen when i launch it.
i found some other way though, i have to find the .app dump of pictochat and download play then rename it to pictochat.nds and dlplay.nds just like what you told me but instead i'm using the .app file not the .cia

If they're not CIAs, you don't need to trim 0x3900 bytes off.
Also, make sure you're on the latest TWLMenu++ version. They didn't boot for me once on flashcards, but I fixed a bug, and they booted for me.

i've updated to the latest twilight menu 10.2.0 though
and before i put it on my flashcard, i test the .nds file with emulator and the ones from the trimmed and renamed .cia files gives me error pop-up but the one from .app file works but it get softlock

The ones from the trimmed .cias need to have the correct title IDs.
I added instructions in the first post.

oh wait i'm an idiot! i shouldn't have deleted the title id in hex editor
it should've been like this:
01.png
not like this (which is what i just do):
02.png
i just realize it when i open the .app file on hex editor, now it works on emulator
sorry i'm new to this, i thought when you said trim the first 0x3900 bytes it was like the second picture(the wrong part)
anyway thank you so much for helping me on this

hey i have a few questions about ramdisks

1. I hear your supposed to put the main folder for your homebrew app in the same folder as the ramdisk you created, which folder is that? I currently have my ramdisk in the "ramdisks" folder thats in the NDS folder for ROMS. but is it the other one?

2. some games search only the SD root for there folder, so if its on one of the ramdisk folders then; will that prevent it from finding the folder?

  1. You put the main folder in the RAM disk.
  2. No. It should be found in the RAM disk itself.

Robz!
I tried to play a game of sega genesis (Sonic)
And it freezes me, just load the jEsnesisDS screen. How do i do it?

I installed with unlauncher and added gba bios to the root folder, but when i try to start GBARunner2 it turns to white screens, and also games for non-ds consoles don't work (Start failed. Error 1 nds-bootstrap (Release) not found). Hot to fix it?
