Looking for if there is a fix to this:
-I updated atmosphere for 9.0, it's running
-Hbmenu opens, but apps don't accept button presses/i cant control them
I'm trying to use save dumper/injecter (YallAreNUTS) and it seems like an issue everyone was having, I was wondering if there's any solution for me at the moment? Sorry if I'm being redundant I just don't know where to look, thank you!
I don't think Y'allAreNUTS works on firmware 9.0. Use another save manager such as Checkpoint or EdiZon.

Finally have everything running. Now I read I can install games as XCI (apparently safer) and NSP format. For NSP I know I can use tinfoil.
1) I only plan to play offline on emu mmc. Is there really a risk with NSP, as in more dangerous than XCI even if offline?
2) What app do I use for installing in XCI? thanks
3) Which format is more recommended, because of advantages over the other.
  1. Offline the risks are the same between the two
  2. ZeroTwoXCI, dOPUS, or n1dus all can install .XCI files
  3. Neither is recommended over the other as both have their advantages and disadvantages. However I should mention that when not using SX OS, installing a .XCI file is like installing a .NSP file in that when you install a .XCI file, what you are really doing is converting it to a .NSP file then installing it. Directly installing the .XCI file involves less steps from the user as you do not need to convert the .XCI file yourself
I've seen this asked elsewhere, but the answers I've seen don't make sense, so I figure the noob area would be appropriate. :)

Before I hacked my switch, I was a good boy and did a full backup. This was in Jan of 2018. The latest firmware was 4.x at that date, however I know I've updated the switch since then. The burnt fuses count shows 6, which I think means I had updated to 5.x.

Since there's now an emuMMC option where we can toggle between CFW and OFW, what I'd like to do is restore my backup so I'm back to a pristine OFW state and then set up emuMMC, however I understand that if I restore my backup, it's going to put a 4.x version of the OFW that isn't going to like the 5.x fuse burn count.

The trick I can't figure out is how to get the appropriate 5.x firmware version installed after restoring. The solutions I've read all bring up using ChoiDujourNX for this, however, I thought the switch had to be hacked to use that -- exactly what I'm trying to avoid. Is it possible to do this? Perhaps editing the backup to "inject" the 5.x firmware?
We were not able to dump the NAND until April so you definitely did not do that in January when we didn't even know what type of exploit TX or ReSwitched would be using for their CFW.

Anyway, you can restore your 4.X backup even with a fuse count of 6. Simply bypass the fuse check with a custom bootloader such as Hekate, ReiNX, SX OS, etc. In order to make it easier to use a custom bootloader, you can enable AutoRCM to prevent the stock bootloader from starting.

Hi,
I already have CFW 6.2 atmosphere but i started one year ago, and i notice there is a lot new stuff, like emunand.
I already bought new 512gb micro sd card and i want to setup fresh cfw, that means i want to go back to stock firmware, i have gpp raw nand and boot0/1 and next make emunand with cfw.
How safety go back to stock?
What i supposed to download to have the best features on console for now?
I recommend setting up emuMMC first then restoring your BOOT0/BOOT1 and eMMC raw GPP

Is my Switch fusee-melee vulnerable?

Trying to:
  1. Plug your Switch into your PC using your USB cable.
  2. Run the command ‘sudo python3 ./fusee-launcher.py ./fusee-test.bin’

But I'm receiving an error in terminal: '
    sudo: python3: command not found'

Mind you I've gone through the tutorial here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/fusee-gelee-tutorial-for-osx-users.501950/ and made the appropriate installs.

Where've I gone wrong? Please advise.

Don't be so complicated. Enter RCM and inject a payload with Tegra. For example if you inject hekate and you enter the hekate menu your switch is not patched.

Booting into Argon and hekate is there which launch except I have no payloads found.

Where should I be putting said payloads on my microSD? With the others in Home/argon/payloads? Cause none of those currently are being found by hekate.

Hekate needs the payloads in bootloader/payloads/
am I forgetting to do something else ? even when I tried to install the driver for goldleaf it wasn't detecting system
I am not sure. I didn't had to install these drivers. Try TegraRcmSmash instead?

I'm who is trying to get my first homebrew to work on my switch.

My switch version is 9.0 and I'm using the up 2 date version of Hekate, Kosmos, Atmosphere ( I used sdsetup today ).
The switch isn't patched so I had no problems entering RCM with a jig and using TegraRCM. I made a backup on my sd card and blocked the connections using 90dns.

But as soon as I try to launch a CFW it shows me the Kosmos Artwork and jumps back to the hekate mainmenu. Its the same on sysnand and emunand. I searched for answers but everything I find is people getting stuck which isn't the case since I can still use the hekate menu.

Someone mind helping me out? Please

Quite confused about the 9.0 Update. Ihave emummc and sysmmc on 8.1. Will anything break or be strange if I Update sysmmc to 9.0?

if i set up emummc, am I safe to update to 9.0 on sysnand?
You do not need emuMMC to update sysMMC to 9.0 but there is no reason to update to 9.0 unless you live or die by online play.

Is your SD card formatted as FAT32?

Not everything is supported on firmware 9.0 such as custom themes and certain homebrew applications which is why I recommend not updating to 9.0 for the time being

okay so i went ahead and updated thru ChoiDujour with 8.1, before i updated i had 4 or 5 burnt fuses. i checked with bricmii payload. when using ChoiDujour it had the prevent fuses from being burnt and everything went smooth. so out of curiosity i checked again with bricmii and now it says 10.
is it saying 10 because of firmware and is wrong or did i mess up?i followed the home-brew guide and did it all thru the switch.
so basically downgrading is not a option anymore correct?

I got a problem... During an installation using goldleaf and goldtree (atmosphere cfw) my pc got shutted down and the process stopped.
Now on the menu games I got a blank icon... What I've to do?

Redoing the process of installation from the beginning ? Or there is a way for delete the trace of this incomplete installation?
