Dragon Quest 3 works fine for me on Snes9x Version 1.30.Is anyone else getting a black screen when selecting a file in Dragon Quest 3 patched?
I fixed it, I think it was something to do with the rom I originally patched.Dragon Quest 3 works fine for me on Snes9x Version 1.30.
I use the english translation version 1.1 from DQ Translations.
I asked about this when the translation first came out. It appears there isn't an emulator on O3DS that can play it right.Tenshi no uta shiroki tsubasa no inori
(Song of the Ocean)
English traslateted
When you play this Japanese game with the English patch applied to it
With version 1.30 of this emulater
No txt (dialog) is displayed on the screen

Snes9x for the Wii got fixes for Tenshi no Uta.
Bubble no longer updates Snes9x for the 3DS. Someone else would have to apply the fixes.
Yeah, he is content with the state his ported emulators are in. You got to move on at some point I guess.
Input lag is independent of frame drops. I haven't found the input lag to be noticeable though.Hi. I have used this and the NES emulator a few times on my modded N3DSXL and experience quite a bit of input lag, event through the frame counter reports full speed. This happens both when launching as a cia and when launching a 3ds from the homebrew launcher.
Is there any way to alleviate the input lag?
Oh well thats not see coming here..He does good homebrew for our little dead consoles 3ds and im grateful for their good work. Snes9x 1.30 its a good port, but we have many releases .I think right now we use in windows the snes9x version 1.60...https://github.com/dborth/snes9xgx/releases

Why not? I dont see any emulators taking advantage using the cpu from the new 3ds consoles, so its logic to do that step further.I prefer bubble doing the project,i like their ports :3I don't think the 3DS would be able to handle 1.60

Unfortunately, for me it is noticeable to the point of affecting gameplay. It is hard to miss when running and jumping on the Super Mario games. There may be an issue with my emu setup.Input lag is independent of frame drops. I haven't found the input lag to be noticeable though.
