Is the the correct steps to make backups of your saves using SX Installer?

1) Boot SX Installer
2) Select "installed" tab from left menu
3) Highlight a game, and press L for "Backup Saves"
4) Press L again to backup

Doing this creates a new folder on the SDCard: sdmc:/switch/sx/saves

5) Copy the contents of the /saves folder to your PC for backup with some folders inside
6) In the event you need to reformat your SD, you would copy the /saves folder from PC back to sdmc:/switch/sx/saves; and then use SX Installer to restore the save by pressing "A" for "Restore" on the "Backup Saves" page.

That all sound correct?

with the switch manually set with 90dns(Primary 163.172.141.219 Secondary 45.248.48.62?)...some things still get through. Are there domains that I can blacklist on my router or homebrew to help at home? Mainly want to block all system updates +nags

Question: Where can I buy a Switch with a good exploitable serial number? Stores like Target don't let you look at the serial# (I guess) in their display window. Any other local stores suggestions?
Try asking the sales associates at Target to let you look at the serial number. Unless they want to lose a sale, I cannot imagine why they would not at least let you check. Otherwise, you will have to look online such as eBay or the trading section on this site.

Why not just use something more well known like Checkpoint or EdiZon?

This seems to be an extensive list of domains you can block on your router.

got a used switch with reinx 2.4 and hbg installed, planning to use atmos but i don't how to switch...when i bought it, the person already installed some game and i wonder:
1. if the game and hbg will not be working if i change to atmos/kosmos?
2. do i need to delete everything from my sd card to make a clean install of atmos?
3. what about the savefile of my games?
4. i have a folder named backup on the root of my sdcard, so i should restore the backup using hekate first or there no need to do that at all?

1. the games will still be working, but you will need Atmosphere patches https://gbatemp.net/threads/i-heard-that-you-guys-need-some-sweet-patches-for-atmosphere.521164/
2. No, just get Atmosphere files off github, extract and transfer them over to sd card. No need to delete anything
3. They'll be fine
4. No, that's a backup of your entire system in case of brick or if say you want to go online and you could install a clean nand. Don't install it but keep it. Even copy it to your computer or an extra hard drive you have laying around for safe keeping. You could even upload it to a site like Google Drive. Note if the day ever came that you did need to use that backup such as if you accidentally bricked your switch everything such as saves and if you have roms for emulators would revert back to when the backup was made. (i.e. any newer ones after the backup would be gone) So you might even consider making a new one.

I cannot brick my console when I am installing cfw?right if so how could I unbrick my console?
If you follow every step, it’s very unlikely. Also the first step should be to create a NAND backup and if your console brick you can restore it.

any other alternative beside 90dns and incognito? i had used 90dns but 'the' download speed is very slow...if possible i don't want to use incognito becuase it delete something from the switch, or i should set up a new dns, like google dns, etc? also, my homebrew menu kept launching when i start to play Overcooked 2 which require me to press both L, R to start the game, suddenly homebrew menu opened

Was sitting 3 feet from the switch today with two others playing and my joycons kept losing connections. I checked and they were fully charged. First time I have had this happen. How far should they be able to go?

Can you use the same online account on two different Switches? If so, are there any issues/drawbacks? In particular, if you want to delete the account from one of the Switches to sell it.

Have an issue here: my Switch's battery is being drained 1% every few seconds. Having it plugged to an official charger brings the battery up to 100% within a few minutes. Full reboot doesn't seem to be of help.

How do I fix this? I have AutoRCM enabled, Komos AMS 0.9.2, Hekate v5.0.0.

I doing an initial install on my switch. I ended up backing up the nand prior to doing anything else, then ran lockpick RCM as recommended to back up the keys. However, I did both of these things prior to making an EmuMMC. Will that dirty my sysNAND at all?

Tried leaving it charged for over an hour, but my Switch's battery will immediately start draining again once I unplug the charger.

Was wondering how I would move everything over to a larger SD card? Would I just partition the new one and just copy everything over along with the emuNAND and boot up like normal? Again, thank you all for the help!
