I'm using the injector, so I don't have to setup anything, the NSUI does everything for me.

Thank you, but is it possible to add borders? The Snes9x gives us that option.
You can change the resolution and aspect ratio in the settings, not sure if that helps.

Does an injected/forwarded SNES title give me that option? Because I'm specifically talking about CIA created with NSUI.

So what advantage does "CATSFC" provide over "SNES9x for old 3DS" options on the SNES NSUI injection?

CATSFC or "snes9x 2005" renders the text correctly in the English patched Fire Emblem - Thracia 776, most notably in the introduction and interlude chapter cut scenes.

If you have n(2/3)DS(XL), you should be able to get away injecting with CATSFC Plus method, which has slightly better audio.

While NSUI's "SNES9x for old 3DS" and Bubble's standalone snes9x emulator mostly work with this game, the interludes has some S letter garbling, Japanese reappearing, and missing text here and there.

Well, it seems I'm going for CATSFC Plus then, a shame because I really liked the SNES9x borders, I even made two custom borders, one for each Fire Emblem.

Hello I'm new to using this. What's the easiest way to edit the banners for injected SNES games? I want to add in the cartridge labels to each game.
I do have the old Ohana3DS, the Asia81 templates, and Photoshop, but I don't know what to do with Ohana3DS

Hello! First of all, I apologize for my horrible English.
Apparently I have this problem with some gbc games, I can not put the link, but it is the github page, this is the rest of the link: libretro / gambatte-libretro / issues / 103 (the post is not mine but apparently it is the same problem).

Is when using the Gambatte core, the dual TGB gives me graphic problems.
The solution would be to use the GBC VC, but I like to play with the big screen (320x240) and the VC uses a blur that I can not turn off.
some help?

hello. are there any templates for gameboy pocket or gameboy color borders? I created a gameboy pocket border. In NSUI it fits fine to the screen and display size. But if i install it on the 3ds the border has now double size and is to big and doesnt fit the screen.

I had the same problem with GB/C, SNES borders work fine for me tho.

Any fix for the icons and borders being off center for GB and GBC injects? I found a workaround for GBC that involves changing the border/icon color but that's not an option for GB injects.

I noticed that "Video" is listed as a cia, but is greyed out. If that's a planned feature, then that's awesome.

Hello, I've been using NSUI Beta 27 and I've been having a problem with title banners (I've been making them myself using gimp with the template linked in this guide). I've verified that they are the same size as stated by NSUI, but they always come out with a slight discoloration at the top and bottom. I've uploaded a photo of an official VC inject and one that i've made using NSUI, and you should be able to see the difference. I've also uploaded one of the banners I made in gimp. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm trying to make them blend in with the official ones as much as possible.

My VC injection:

Official VC Game:

The banner that I made:
Super-Mario-All-Stars.png

Thanks!

Edit: After comparing the two pictures I can see that the banner on my injection is larger than the official one. The banner is 256x64, the correct size according to NSUI, so is there anything that could be causing the size to be wrong?

Those are some pretty legit looking injects, nice one!

Hi. I got a question -I'm sorry if it was already asked, though, but it's hard to look it up on 18 pages of comments, and the search function didn't help me, so...

Does the "Install CIA(s) to 3DS..." tool properly works? I really wanted to try it in order to speed up my process of installing CIAs, and it sounds GREAT to be able to do so without having to turn off my 3DS, remove the SD card from it, insert the SD card on my computer, save the CIA files in it, then reinsert it in my 3DS and having to install them.

I correctly entered my 3DS IP address in the options menu, and I'm using the "Remote Instal > Receive URLs over the network" option in FBI at my Old 3DS, and I do successfully get the URL, but when I try to install it, I see no progress of the process and after a short while I get this:

Just for the record: As I mentioned it, I'm using an Old 3DS and I'm trying to install an NES CIA of Castlevania II (which I did in order to test this feature but with no luck).

Also, I have some other questions. Is there a general guide of all the functions and tools of the NSUI? I noticed there is a "CIA extract and rebuild" tool, which made me believe it let you extract the data of other rom/VC CIAs and use it to create an NSUI Project out of it (I got a freakton of NES and SNES CIAs, but most of them display a blasted stretched fullscreen screen and I honestly don't know why or how some people like it that way, them monsters, but yeah I was hoping to modify the screen size display), but alas it only let's you "rebuild" the CIA, which I'm not sure what's that good for, then directly install it on the 3DS, which results in the same problem I mentioned above.

Oh, and I was previously using beta 26, so in order to use beta 27 I exported a project from beta 26 and when trying to import it into beta 27, it only puts the project file into the Library folder but it won't appear on my lists of projects, making me unable to actually open it.

tl;dr: Can't install CIA directly from NSUI into my Old 3DS, send help.

I’ve tried using the search function but it’s hard for me. So I’m Just going to ask a likely question. Are there Plans for Mac Support or is there already? I don’t have a windows system on me.

I don't think this will happen. Development on this seems to have stopped. The easiest method I can think of is using Windows inside a virtual machine.

I did have success using NSUI on my test computer (Ubuntu) with wine – but I have no idea if this works on OSX and what has to be installed in order to do this. Don't own a Mac (never will buy one) and can't do any tests in that direction (running .NET applications with or without wine under OSX)
