Hey folks,

my internal Trinket m0 (with Fusee-UF2 - THX to mattytrog) is only active, when i press a hidden button behind the backside air-grills (button is on 3v strap) and everything was working like a charm. Switch boot in RCM (autoRCM) and i just hold the button for a second to powering the Trinket, payload was send and voila - everything boot! Release the button and the Trinket is complete off (no battery drain).

I use this config since 2 weeks without any Problems... BUT...

Now I made a USB install with Goldtree/Goldleaf and at the first try my transfer speed was (first time ever) just 0.99mb/s. I interrupted the installation, restart the Switch (without using the Trinket) and try it again. Now the installation worked with 18mb/s. But then I wanted to change my microSD and powered of the Switch completely. After that, the payload procedure don't work anymore! The Trinket power on and then the RCM mode crash (no other payload method work after trying to usethe Trinket). The failure must be related to the USB install! But the Trinket have no Power Connection! How can it be?

I could make a payload with my Smartphone and a cable again, after powering the Switch off and on again.

=> To fix this misbehavior I had to reflash the Trinket. After reflashing everything worked again!

HOW TO REFLASH TRINKET m0:

- Make a external Payload and boot into the "HEKTATE" RCM Menu (don't work when the Switch is booted into the own OS).

- Press 2 Times the Reset Button on the Trinket (not to fast, not to slow) and the red LED must start pulsing (Bootloader mode).

- Connect USB and the Trinket USB Drive should come up (if not, repeat the procedure with USB connected before double press Reset button).

- Copy your UF2 file over and the Trinket reflash himself.

- Done :D

But how can it be, that a powered off Trinket can get corrupted over the (D+) and (D-) Connection?

Btw. i copied a lot of files over USB before - just the USB installation with Goldleaf/Goldtree corrupt the Trinket.

Okay, I don't found a solution so far for the Problem. Its seems, that the Trinket get Powered over the Data(+) and Data(-) Connection and catch up the USB Data Transfer...

But I found a way to prevent this!

When i connect USB to PC and fire on Goldtree -> USB Install and Goldleaf is connected with the PC, I check the LED of my Trinket. When the red power LED of the Trinket (I don't removed it) show up (very dimmed) then i can't install my nsp. I have to cancel the USB Install and reconnect the USB. After 1-2 tries with connecting USB and start USB Install, the LED don't go on and the way is free for an USB install....

So, if you have the same Problem, check the LED Status of your Trinket :teach:

Maybe im the only one with that Problem....

I doubt very much it the trinket that's at fault, more likely you need to format your micro sd card and reinstall the files that were on it.

I also doubt that the trinket is at fault here as it is only pushing the uf2 off the modchip. High chance it has to do with your SD card and files.

Im switching between three SD-Cards, all have the same behavior (all Cards are from Sandisk, all different size, all fat32 (32kb)). The Problem can't be here....

My thoughts are, the USB Mode is different. Im not sure if the Trinket react strange or the Switch change the voltage on the Dataconnection. Maybe the very low voltage over D(+) and D(-) activate the bootloader mode of the Trinket and he start to grab the USB Data....

Later that day I will try to install a NSP with powered on Trinket, maybe its my build in "power switch" that cause all this Problems... but on the other hand I read a couple times of users, that get round about 1mb/s transfer rate over USB after installing Trinket (without a switch).

Good day, for those who still have the problem in usb communications, whether the PC does not recognize the switch, or sale as an unknown device, or the USB installations are very slow, the problem is not in the firmware of the trinket m0, it's in the threads used for the d + and d- pads are too long or too thin, or too thick, use the recommended by @Matty, just shortening the threads solves this problem is no more, thanks to all for the collaboration and attention happy day
