I guess they had varying opinions. Maybe after sub-space emissary, someone thought it would always have a single-plane, beat'em up-mode included?

Also, isn't it rather easy to edit a Wiki entry?

This isn't as bad as someone saying, "Rocket League is a racing game because it has cars that go Vrrrrooooom!", but we are getting damn close.

Temper Tantrums is a good idea, but I don't understand why you guys literally always choose for them to be unfunny. Why not make them funny? BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT FUNNY IN ANY WAY AND COMPLETELY UNCREATIVE OH MY GOD

You don't see anything that you can actually kill in Portal (besides robots). Besides, it's not an fps, it's a first-person puzzle game.
But the only thing you do is -shooting- portals, so a First Person (Portal) Shooter.
Of course you also solve puzzles.

Our sincere apologies that we keep failing to provide you the quality material that you deserve.

As such, you are more than welcome to provide your own strip for the next issue. Godspeed my friend.

Alternate answers:

"I like ponys."
"Fish and chips."
"Halting problem."
"And which do you prefer?"
"Brothers, racial stereotypes, and burning flesh."
"Platformers it is then."

I enjoy platformers and fighting games more than any other genre. Especially platform fighters (Smash Bros., Powerstone, et cetera).
Shooters, RPGs, racing games (Mario Kart especially), and puzzle games come close.
