Okay I got it to run but I cannot figure out even via the readme how one would update it to 8.0.1, or at least what folders I need to look into. Do I need a physical cart of a recently released game or something? Do I need a certain file from elsewhere?

1) Get the 8.0.1 firmware file (not allowed to post here, you need Google for it)
2) Put the fimware file on the sd card in a folder called "firmware"
3) Start ChoiDujourNX and install

Okay, one last thing before I am good to go. What programs are there to allow me to apply firmware updates for specific games without needing to go onto the nintendo online. Not DLC, just update info, specifically Let's Go Eevee update 1.0.1.

Download update as nsp and install with gold leaf.

Okay, maybe one more thing. One ChoidujourNX do I pick 8.0.1 or 8.0.1 (exFAT)? Is there a meaningful difference between the two? (also want to know for future updates and downgrades I do)

If you choose exFAT, you can use micro sd cards with exFAT format. In the end you should only use FAT32 because exFAT is known for corruption. The switch has faulty exFAT drivers.

Okay, downloaded the link do I put the Atmosphere Master folder on the SD root and replace the atmosphere one or do I do something else

Replace old files with new ones.

so I remove the exef_patches and titles folder and replace them with all of the new and different folders in atmosphere master folder? Since the files seem entirely different and more numerous

first of all sory my little english.
i have a big trouble for my girfriends switch.
she's switch firmware is 8.0.1, im using atmosphere final ver. with final sigpatches.
goldleaf installs perfectly nsps. but i cant open.
system says ''checking whether this software can be played'' than giving error. i have 2 switch. my switch is ok with all cfws but this one dosen't open any nsp .im using macos. i tried all ways(format, reset, diffrent CFW's Reninx and sxos kosmos sdsetup) and it s really nightmare for me in 12 hours.Please help!

Ok So my switch is on 4.1 and I wanna use sx and emunand so is there a way for my to upgrade to 7.1 and then setup emunand or am I screwed and have to upgrade to 8.0

1) SX OS already supports 8.0.1.
2) With the hombrew application ChoiDujourNX you can upgrade and downgrade to any firmware.

ok so I can leave my sysNAND at 4.1 and just do emunand and upgrade that to 7.1 with Choi correct

Im still struggling to get goldtree to work!
In goldleaf it says USB was detected, waiting for pc client.
In goldtree it never goes past attempting to connect to goldleaf via USB. I have installed the drivers numerous times with zadig-2.4.
I have reset the computer. I have tried different computers. I have tried different usb cables and different ports.

As soon as I unplug the usb cable from the pc goldtree then pops up an error saying that an invalid command has been received.
I always start goldleaf first.
Using goldleaf v0.5, goldtree v0.4

any ideas?????

You can keep both on the micro sd but needed is only the license file. Keep the request file if you lose your license file.
