I already reformatted the SD card to 32FAT, it stopped giving that message when it's in the switch and everything, but it still won't let me access the homebrew menu. I can still only access hakate via payload and nothing else.
After you formated the micro sd, you copied back the CFW files?

I think I'll try gold tree untill I get the stuff for sxos. I think that will be the best way in the end.

With goldtree do the games always install to the switch, or can they be installed to the sd as well?
You can choose during the installation process.

Thanks for the reply Draxzelex i did already copy the new sigpatches from the first page a few days ago but did it again just incase anything changed but still no luck loading these games so any other ideas i could try

Hello guys, sx os 2.6.2, sysnand 7.0.1 should i update ofw by OTA system update or via Choj? Which way is better?

Uh...you can just restore the boot0/boot1 as well as the eMMC SYS and USER to SysNAND with Hekate. Not sure if SX OS supports NAND restoration or not.

Ensure you have the latest piracy patches which you can grab from this thread.

If you don't have any clean NAND backups, there really isn't much you can do. People have been banned even after performing a factory reset so doing one won't do you any good. Just make a NAND backup now in case the console ever bricks which includes dumping boot0/boot1 as well as the eMMC raw GPP.
What if i dont have hekate?

Depends if your SysNAND is clean or not. If it's clean (never run CFW on SysNAND), then you should update it with official system update. If it's not clean, then you should update with ChoiDujourNX. Also if you update with ChoiDujourNX and don't disable autoRCM, you can easily downgrade later on. Official system update will burn fuses.

So If i preorm a system format on ofw, restore my back up with sxos, update with choidujour nx, and never run cfw on ofw, then am i safe to go play online?

You need CFW to run ChoiDujourNX. If you use SX OS as CFW then you can create EmuNAND. I hope you have created a clean NAND backup before you run CFW. Create EmuNAND (1:1 copy of your current SysNAND) and restore clean NAND backup of your SysNAND. Now you can use EmuNAND for CFW offline and play games online in clean SysNAND.

Yes, I copy/pasted every single thing that was on there, which was the contents of the SD folder like they suggested in the guide.

I'm guessing I put the files in the wrong place on the SD card or something. What files do I need and where do they need to be on the SD card?

The root of my SD card has the atmosphere, backup, bootloader, edizon, nintendo, and switch folders, as well as device.kays and hbmenu.nro

the switch folder has appstore, checkpoint, choidujournx, edizon, kosmostoolbox, kosmosupdater, and lockpick folders and goldleaf.nro

This thread should answer all of your banning-related questions.
Okay, I think it's clear now. Once a full NAND is done that's as safe as I'll be, but even then it's probably not. I'm just trying to weigh my options before I proceed. Is it possible to remain on 6.0.0 and somehow install an older version of the games I own? I probably won't be using the system for any newer games before I start messing around with L4T

Okay, I got CFW to boot, but is there a way to make it always boot without dumping the payload?

Also, when I try to open ChoidujourNX is gives and error and forces me to reset, I want to update to 8.0.1 to play more recent games without blowing the fuses

If your console is fully turned off, you need to inject the payload again. Also it would be helpful if you would make a photo of the error.

it does not matter.

read the faq, you need to have debug svcs enabled in your hbloader.
(also, ive only ever used hekate as bootloader (see no reason to use the atmosphere repack called "ReiNX CFW"), your mileage may vary)
