Hi.

I've been using SX Installer to install all my nsps.
lately (with cuphead, and my own xci2nsp files), sx installer isn't performing as wished.

So I switch to Gold leaf which gives me hiccups with some nsps which otherwise work correctly.

I'm looking for an installer with the following possibilities:
  • Install nsps over USB (using NS-USBloader)
  • Ignore Firmware requirement
  • Install nsps over USB stick inserted in switch (all nsps are in the root folder)
  • nice to have: install over FTP

I've tried all the gazillion tinfoils out there, lithium, tinfoil with gui which looks like sx installer, etc.
None of them had the possibility to give me all the features I needed.

the most feature rich was SX installer, which hasn't been updated in a while and isn't working correctly with newer NSPs I find. (lots of failed nsp installs)
Gold Leaf is the only thing that worked with NS-USBleader (apart from the classic tinfoil.nro from Adubb) - I'm not into politics and don't know the mindfuckery going on there
Lithium can do nothing at all, apparently and is very basic
Same with Tinfoil from digableinc (looks like Lithium). Which is said to be able to scan SX USB Storage but doesn't work with my USB stick attached to my switch (SX installer sees all the files, so nothing is wrong with that). Can anyone point me into the right direction maybe? Am I not seeing something? Dir structure maybe? etc.

Can anyone please help me with this? I'm trying to streamline my workflow of installing nsps. Right now, it looks like I need to use 3 installers and check if a game installation was successful. If it was not, I have to move on to another installer.

SX OS 7.0.1 here.

Thanks in advance for every help

I have the same question. I am looking for a fast and reliable way of installing games and dlc. I would even try a USB c to Ethernet Adapter If that would make things more stable.

would say Tinfoil DZ and the HBG Shop
when you have questions about the HBG Shop then PM me on Discord: Sumandora#5621

I am using goldleaf and goldtree for now, because NUT does not find all my NSPs (titleID not set?!) and Tinfoil therefore cannot install the NSPs that are not shown.

I've found that all NSP installers have pros and cons, and one installer rarely works 100% of the time. What doesn't work with one sometimes works with another, so I bounce around these three:
  1. Tinfoil DZ and nut
  2. Goldleaf and Goldtree
  3. Tinfoil (original) and Fluffy
I'm mostly using Tinfoil DZ these days, but it's still not 100%.

I use sxinstaller and now lithium. I only use lithium because it bypasses firmware check. Other than that, sxinstaller works great. Those are the only 2 I am currently using.

Thanks so much for all your answers. That will give me a direction.
Does anyone have a link proper to Tinfoil DZ? There are so many tinfoils out there, I'm hesitant to download and try myself
