Hacking Question Cant install nsp with Goldleaf v0.5 anymore

I am trying to install an nsp on Goldleaf, but I keep getting this error. Tried the latest kosmos signature patches but realized the patches prevented Atmosphere 0.8.8 from booting. Can someone help me fix this.

An error occurred attempting to install the nsp:

Error: 0x234c02
Module: FS (2)
Description: Invalid NCA (might mean missing sigpatches or a too low firmware) (4518)

If your on 7.x like me, you will get errors, with goldtree I know after every usb install or something, I get the atmosphere crash, that’s part of the known issues though. Maybe the game your installing is one of those games, you can’t ignore firmware version.

Try a earlier version of Goldleaf just noticed my Goldleaf on home menu is still 0.3 but in hb browser it’s the latest version, I usually use the older version since it’s on my home menu.

If your on 7.x like me, you will get errors, with goldtree I know after every usb install or something, I get the atmosphere crash

Pull your USB cable out before closing out of GoldLeaf with "+" or Home button. Doing this will allow you to exit to hbmenu without AMS crashing on you

Im not installing nsps using usb and that still dosnt answer the problem

Install sig patches and es patches

To install those you need to extract them and then put the contents of the atmosphere folder in there to your SD cards atmos folder
And use goldleaf 0.5. Cause 0.3isnt supported by 7.0.1 i think
Also if your goldleaf is crashing it's because you need to exit by pressing -

Maybe delete your old cfw files and replace with latest kosmos
Or you can try tinfoil from www.tinfoil.io
Tinfoil even supports xci installation

Gold leaf 0.5 and goldtree
8.0 Switch
newest atmo and patches
drivers installed for usb zdiag

Working pretty good with few crashes here and there. Better than 7.0 for sure as you can go back to home menu and back without crashing.

On your SD card, delete EVERYTHING except the folder named 'Nintendo" and the folder named "Switch"

Download the latest Atmosphere zip file and extract to SD card https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases

Download fusee-primary.bin, this is the payload you will use to boot your Switch.

Download Sigpatches and extract to SD https://gbatemp.net/attachments/2-0-0-8-0-0-zip.164387/

Download Tinfoil from https://github.com/digableinc/tinfoil/archive/1.55.zip. Extract to Switch folder on your SD card. Put the SD back in your Switch.

Open TegraRCMGui, inject Fusse-Primary. USB install via Nut for Tinfoil and Goldleaf/Goldtree will work fine.

you need to delete every trace of the old atmo et copy the new one on your sd,and don't delete the nintendo folder

OP, thank you very much for taking time and editing your original post, had the very same problem - Dragon's Dogma and MK11 gave me "data is corrupted" error when trying to start them. Funny thing - Cuphead installed okay, no idea why :|
