Ooops, sorry for double posting, but this is the actual injector I use, so here's a copy of my original post:

Hi guys, I'm having a great time injecting VC games, and so far everything is working well. I do have one question about GBA games. It is well known that a lot of early GBA games were oversaturated to compensate for the first GBA screen.

My question is, does the VC accounts for that automatically when running on the 3DS? I use the option "no dark filter" when converting the rom, but if I understand correctly, this is different than the oversaturation problem in GBA games. When the advanced SP was release, did it account automatically for early games by detecting the date or something like it?

Otherwise, I guess color restoration patches are the only option to get accurate colors for old GBA games on 3DS?

Thank you!

GBA games could not detect which GBA they were running on, or even if they were running on GB player. Some games like Sonic Advance 3 and Final Fantasy Tactics let you choose color modes for this reason.

The only tools you have to change this for VC are the dark filter and rom hacks. And of course, brightness setting on the 3DS.

I am just wondering where the options went for Snes9x? I have older CIAs that I made using an injector that I can not find anymore, and those all inject Snes9x 1.1. In those versions, I get a third tab in the bottom screen that lets me change scaling, SRAM saves, palette changes, etc. But that's not available any more, just wondering if it will come back? It was really handy for swapping things on the fly.

Snes9x v1.10 didnt play nice with N3DS's (sometimes doesnt boot, sometimes doesnt save, etc etc) and was compiled for 3DS by someone else.
When Asolo made NSUI he worked with a newer version and decided to leave out a lot of the old options afaik.

I downloaded the Beta 27 and every time I try to run it, it crashes before the window even opens it, with Windows saying it "New Super Ultimate Injector for 3DS has stopped working". I'm on Win 10

This is a common issue. It worked for me after i deleted the settings ini.

You mean config.ini? Because if so, I tried deleting and it still won't open
The only other advice I have is to redownload it. Even after I got it working it still sometimes gets stuck in a crash loop, causing me to get a fresh download.

Hey Asdolo, a message popped up about Star Ocean and a working .Cia, I have one with an applied IPS patch that I made with your program. And it runs flawlessly on my New 3DSXL. Dunno how old your message was, but if you still need help with that, message me.

I always wonder why people use cross-platform languages just to bind to Windows only APIs. This tool uses Windows only APIs to read it's ini file?

//EDIT: Also every SNES game I try to convert crashes. I would love to show an image but it seems I'm not allowed to do so.

When i want to convert a rom hack gba file to a CIA file a get the message "rom file size not supported" even when i selected the correct file size in step 1, why is that?

The maximum rom size for gba is 32mb, so hacks that make the rom larger than that can cause issues.

Hi everybody.
I'm having troubles injecting Donkey Kong Country (SNES version) to SNES Virtual Console.
When I made it to CIA and install and play it, runs a little slow, sound cracking, etc.
The only way to play it smooth is using the Snes9x forwarder. Thanks in advance
