Looks like SX OS 2.6 Beta works with 7.0
announcement on the website. I'm not allowed to post links apparently .

I'm trying to figure out what illegal numbers are in the code where links aren't allowed. Not the illegal numbers themselves, but why the numbers are illegal.

Man, it must be suffering to have a 4.1.0 patched Switch. Being stuck waiting this long, and missing out on games. I would have just updated by now.

@Nah3DS, for your next chart update:
isn't déjà vu "partially patched" up to 7.0.1 ? it's only fully fixed on 8.0.0
currently your chart says it's not possible on 6.1->7.0.1

for references, copy of SciresM tweets https://gbatemp.net/posts/8600881

but I didn't read a lot about that exploit, so maybe I'm wrong. what's different in 6.1.0?

edit: oh, and there's a new webkit/warmboot exploit : Nereba from 1.0.0 to 3.0.0

i believe exploits up to atleast 6.0.0 already exist to leverage dejavu and should get a green checkmark. >6.2.0 is "partially patched" as in no known exploit to finish the hack.
I maybe wrong though, perhaps someone better should come along

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
