@fledge68 I installed the new version of wiiflow. I changed my source menu settings to use source flow. Now when i click the Home button on the source flow screen it pulls up the wrong settings menu.

This new version is awesome and the added features are very appreciated! Wiiflow lite is truly the ultimate loader... thanks fledge for your hard work!!

Just a little thing that I noticed when using multiple backrounds: after pressing + to show game info and then B to go back to the selected game view, the last background is showing instead of the correct one.
E.g. case 1. my game info screen has no custom background, if I press B to go back to the selected game view, there is no custom bg as well.
Case 2. I press + in a game that has no info. The warning 'no game info' message appears with its own red background (using Rhapsodii). If I press B to go back, the Red background remains.

In both cases going back to coverflow view and then returning to selected view, fixes everything.
I'm sorry if I can't explain it better

I will soon update the italian translation with the new entries

Ok, my background issues are no more with this dol. Everything's perfect. Thanks!

Another thing that I recently noticed is that my custom titles are not showing anymore. They used to work some revisions ago, but I can't tell exactly when they stopped working. Maybe I missed some recent changes in WiiFlow Lite updates

Sorry I forgot, the Wonderswan Color screenshots in Game Info are a little misplaced (vertically) from their frames.

Edit: also, when the classic controller is plugged in, if the wiimote disconnects after a pause, when it reconnects the pointer is locked on the screen, you can't move it with both the wiimote and the CC's left stick.
You can regain control on the cursor unplugging the CC from the wiimote.

Ill look into the custom titles and classic controller pointer thing.

As for ws images you will have to edit the images so they match up. Either cut some of the overlay off or most likely add transparency in the proper place so they line up. Personally id rather have bigger game pics and not use the overlay.

Thanks @fledge68 now I understand how they work. It would be great to have screenshots displayed as a banner, for the many plugin games without banners.
Working on my theme, what lines should I add to move the category icon in the game screen?

yes screen shots in place of banner sounds nice. but then do i keep them in the game info and display the snapshot in both places or do i remove it from game info and only show the cart disk pic in game info? and what about when using full screen banners do we just show the snapshot in the middle of the screen with play and back below? do we add a custom background or overlay/frame around the snapshot?

@Tetsuo Shima i just tried custom titles and it works for me. just to clarify:

custom_titles.ini goes in wiiflow/settings folder

you make the domain the magic number in []
then the title of the rom without the extension= the title you want

when you run wiiflow you will need to do a reload cache to update the titles.

I was thinking about something like this for my theme, but it could work with the default theme too:
Real Banner
Mar-10-2019-00h27m25s.png
Screenshot for plugin game
Mar-10-2019-00h26m52s.png
No Screenshot for plugin game
Mar-10-2019-00h26m52s.png
If the screenshot is in 4:3 ratio, like in the above example, it could be centered on a black background and have a fixed height.
I think that the screenshot could stay in game info as well, but no problem if you want to remove it from there.
Yes, if it could be clicked and go full screen like real banners , it would be even more consistent

Solved the issue with custom titles. The .ini file was missing from wiiflow/settings. Now it's ok. Maybe i accidentally deleted it some time ago

for me it has some bugs. Always i launch the app it doesn't load the usb in place load the sd.
Then sometimes doesn't change the sd to usb anymore and i have to delete the app and the wiiflow's folder to make it work again.
Sorry but i don't speak English too much

If you move forward with this idea, I am in favor of keeping the screenshot in both the Game Info screen and the Banner frame.

For Full-Screen view, would you be able to enlarge the screenshot to fill the screen (like banners do)? Or would it need to stay in its native resolution? An enlarged screenshot should look fine without any custom background work; however if the screenshot stays native, it may benefit from a custom background to help fill the empty void.

maybe your usb device is not compatible with wiiflow lite. if wiiflow lite doesn't detect your usb device it will switch into SD ONLY mode and you can't switch partitions from SD to USB. you have to go to Main Settings>Startup Settings and change SD ONLY to off.

Sorry I forgot, the Wonderswan Color screenshots in Game Info are a little misplaced (vertically) from their frames.
That's because @fledge68 has slightly modified the coordinates. It wasn't perfectly aligned in the first test either. As he said, you'll have to crop/resize the images.
I knew the overlays wouldn't please everyone. But it looks better at the native resolution. Particularly for handhelds, I'm afraid it won't look very good at higher res or in fullscreen...
And in gameinfo window, the images are a bit small without overlays. Maybe some of you could make better decoration images though.

Ok, thanks. I like the handeld's overlays btw :) they are good for the game info screen IMHO.
If one day it will be possible to show screenshots in place of the banner in the game screen, maybe just a black background could be used to fill the gap. see here

For wonder swan screenshots it would be a simple fix if I knew how to batch resize the image files. Unfortunately I have no scripting skills, but I would like to learn something, if you could have any advice
I'm using Gimp and I tried some plugins, but with little success with practical use.
