as I pre-ordered and was the first ones to get my hands on SXOS (like number 230),
I also represent the PC masterrace and 17 years career here at work in IT enables me to pretend I know about stuff.
all my life I wanted to be a sysop on a BBS. I happen to be a moderator on a different forum for 17 years.
I Am the BEST representation of an SX OS user.
I just dont want to sound elitist as f*ck which is what i read everyday when I try to read information about about SXOS.

There is still no current method of doing what i do to enjoy backups like the way I been doing with free-ware
but I am not knocking free-ware at all, I know it is and will be the child of sciccorsM (my hero) and all will come soon in time I am sure of this which is GREAT NEWS FOR EVERYONE!
I have access to that anime girl username Reinyday cfw which was atmosphere with kips. I can go run atmosphere right now to do less for what i use it for.

YES we paid, it was the fastest/best direct line way to playing backups, and it still IS.
You can try to convince new users not to pay, thats awesome, but stop knocking how awesome SXOS has become by telling its users negative crap like we are not worthy like your 1337 myg0t skillz.
People need to drop the attitude towards people who have paid for something clearly that works and works well for them.

Captain Toad Treasure Hunter update wants 7.x but works perfectly fine on 6.2 with 'ignore fw version' option. Same goes with other 7.x games/updates.
Let's be real, 99% of the people who claim to be using such features for backup purposes only are lying through their teeth. It's always been a wink, nudge type of thing.
They're not going to use Scires' splash screened Sept, so...
I mean they could but then it'd sort of betray the game, "We're using free software, here it is, to give you free shit at a premium." Hell of a business tagline.
he knows team sx are stuck otherwise he would have at least made the usual "soon" comment. this is what i think anyway because he is the spokesperson for them
None of the SXOS users care about the splash screens. If they are withholding the release because of it, then they are pissing off their paying customers - all because they don't want to lose face.
TX can't steal everything to get 7.x up and running. They still have to make sure their own features stay intact, namely the ones other CFW's don't have. Emunand, XCI loading, etc. People be acting like they're failing at cloning atmosphere. Hecks'naw dog, hecks'naw. TX ride till you die.
