Hello all,

I can‘t believe, that I‘m the only one with this problem. But i have searched the internet for days now and can‘t find an answer to my question.

I want to transfer my SX OS Emunand from System Nand to a SD Card with Emunand partition.

My Original OS is still on 3.0.1.
My SX OS Emunand on System Nand is on 6.0.0. I have several savegames that I don‘t want to lose.

I hope that someone can help me:

- So what is the right order to performe a transfer?
- How can I transfer the Emunand from System Nand to a SD Card with own partition?
- How can I transfere my savefiles?
- After transfer, can I update the Emunand with choidujour?

Sorry for my bad english...
Best regards,

Deebuzz

It's true that TX own tool only allows to transfer emunand from nand to SD, not hidden partition SD.

Quick question, why would you want your emunand on hidden partition SD rather than on SD ?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And it doesn't matter which kind of SD transfer you will perform.

With each SD Emunand transfer, your savefiles will be accessible, no changes, and you will be able to update the emunand with choidujour, as you could before the transfer.

I have SD EmunEmu Hidden Partition

Can't help you, sorry.
But that's why I think it's better NOT to transfer Emunand to an hidden partition on SD.
That way, you can just copy the emunand, which is on :root/sxos/emunand to another SD.

OK. So clearly not a problem for me, as I only play in offline mod.

I thought maybe R/W access to the SD could corrupt the emunand if not hidden. That would be my biggest fear. But then again, a simple copy of the folder for backup should suffice.

If you only use your switch offline you don’t need hidden partition. I also use my switch for offline purpose only and I didn’t install it on hidden partition since it’s much easier to access and backup.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
